basketball is dead
Basketball is mostly dead in southern ohio. If you are older and can't get out much, I used to follow the teams thru seops. I find there is not posting for the magarity of the teams when and where and how they came out. Its so I don't look anymore. Except a few teams that don't have football, they have almost all the posting. Goodby sorry site.

Re: basketball is dead
I am older ( soon be 71) and do get out . I have been to all The Peake's jv and varsity plus their scrimmages. I have also traveled to Meigs and watched 2 jv and varsity. I will see 3 games tonight at Cabell Midland, the Peake vs Cabell Midland jv and varsity. In between will be a varsity between Lincoln county and Point Pleasant.
I will go as long as I am able.
I post scores and do some banter, but sometimes it gets a little ridiculous.

So you say you don't really look for scores, all the while complaining they're not reported.
Spell check is also your friend.

Almost every program has an insta or twitter account. If you want to know scores simply follow them. I find it entertaining that so many are complaining and in the "old days" you had to hope your coach could report the score before the paper ran the next day.

You really only ever post about Burg, basically every single team for the vast majority is streamed online so you can get all the information you want and contribute on here if you wanted. Sounds like you're just complaining for the sake of complaining, I mean look at your post, good bye sorry site?? i mean really no one is ever worried about if a user leaves or not especially one that doesn't offer any type of insight but wants more information. Very confusing, latercallie11 wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2024 10:52 am Basketball is mostly dead in southern ohio. If you are older and can't get out much, I used to follow the teams thru seops. Yes, proclaiming the site is dead because some old boomer can't get everything they want is classic.DJT47 wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2024 6:35 pmThe ol grammar teacher. Nice. I'm sorry if I expect a half competent post (Goodby is also not a word).
Here's the thing, nearly every game is live streamed, and twitter and insta exist where 99% of teams update scores. There has never been a time where people have more access to information, but goodness, make someone have to click more than once and the site and basketball is dead.
He could have simply asked if there is a better way to find scores. Proclaiming this site and basketball in the area is dead is a really thought out rational post. Let us go back to having to wait for the next day in the newspaper, if it was indeed reported in time.
The ol feller needs to have someone help him learn how to "computer".
