Friday the 10th
I know the world does not revolve around Ohio State football (and if you didn’t, news flash!), but I think a lot of people know where I’m going with this.
Do we think any games get rescheduled because of the OSU-Texas game scheduled at the same time as a lot of bball games in the area? Definitely wouldn’t be shocked to see it, but again, OSU doesn’t control the entire world so I wouldn’t be shocked to see things business as usual that night either.

As expected, a lot of games in the Central district are expected to be rescheduled, so it will be interesting to see if the Southeast district (or anywhere else in the state for that matter) follows suit

West at Minford is now on the 11th
We’ll see more throughout the week as ADs are able to find rescheduling dates

A lot of factors. I wouldn’t want to move it. I would guess you might lose 100 would spectators and that is some $$$ a lot of schools really need. A pain to move it.Buckeyes2003 wrote: Thu Jan 02, 2025 4:34 pm I know the world does not revolve around Ohio State football (and if you didn’t, news flash!), but I think a lot of people know where I’m going with this.

I’d be in favor of moving to the next night. We have Waverly at home. Or the night before a triple header with the girls. I don’t think we have a JV girls team

It's understandable that scheduling conflicts like these can be a concern, especially when a major sporting event like OSU-Texas overlaps with other local events. While OSU football draws a lot of attention, it's unlikely that it would entirely dictate the schedule for all basketball games in the area.

Wheelersburg at Valley next Friday will be a JV 4:30 tip, so I imagine varsity will be starting around 6.
Could see a lot of teams doing something like this as well especially the schools that don’t have a freshman team
