The Panthers suffered it first loss of the season to Valley this evening. Score was 56-53. Valley played well and hit the shots when needed. I believe they hit at least 9 3's. They were up by 13 at onetime in the first half and The Peake battled back to tie at the half 33-33. We had the ball down one with 12.9 scs left and thru it away. We fouled and they hit 2 free throws to go up 3. Peake inbounded with 5.8 to go but 3 was way off. The Peake was off tonight as they missed several easy inside shots and several turnovers. Refs inconsistent all night, not what they called but the lack thereof. That being said Valley played better and we didn't. Next up is South Point on Tues.

Marietta led all game and ahead by 10 in the 4th Quarter. Missed 4 straight FTs in the final 90 seconds. John Glenn took the lead before a short jumper in the lane as time expired. Both teams played aggressive defense all night. Marginally surprised by the outcome as JG is really good with no weaknesses.
