ZT is a sound ball club. I watched them against Ironton and Minford and they play good, hard, team basketball. I have enjoyed watching them play.
However, Minford was too much down the stretch. They score in bundles and get hoop to hoop in a hurry. Train rolls on! Congrats Minford

Congrats to the Mighty Falcons! All the pressure and expectations on them tonight and they delivered.
Minford’s last District Championship squad in 1995 made it to Regional Finals. Shawn Sommer and Steve Yeagle was the original Montgomery and Kayser!! Hoping Coach Shoe and his boys can get to State.*

Big props to Jackson Shoemaker on making the only three at a key moment. ZT was making a run with momentum but his trey extinguished that!
What a fun team to watch, glad we get to do it at least one more time.

Congrats to Minford on a hard fought game. I was rooting for the Pioneers because I'm a SVC guy but I am happy for the Minford coach and their kids. On many ocassions I have seen Minford kids and coaching staff unfairly critcized on here because of a loss at tournament time. For them to get that District title this year is a great reward.
I thought ZT played well and gave themselves a chance to win this game. It was definitely a dog-fight til the end. ZT was able to keep the pace where they needed to have a chance but the Minford team had players that rose to the ocassion.
Good Luck to Minford in the Regional tournament and Congrats to ZT on a good year.
