Swanker: no doubt…Norm and Fenton gonna be in the lab cooking all week like Walter White and Jesse Pinkman!

Kwasniak gonna get face-guarded the whole game. This ain’t Norm and Fenton’s first rodeo and they not gonna let one player beat them. Will be a fast pace but look for Roberts to absolutely eat this game. Jeeps move on to the State Final by a score of 71-63.*

With that many points? I am sure the kid has seen a ton of faceguards. My guess is the coach knows how to get the kid open. It looks like the best way to play this team is to take the air out of the ball. Webster doesn't have a true second-leading scorer like Minford. Roberts will have to have a great game to win this one. He is definitely capable.

I'd say you're probably right wobycat. If anybody knows the Old School Norm I'd say that's exactly what he plans on doing, slowing.... the.... game... down.... and trying to limit the Kwasniak kid shots and not let them get 2nd chance baskets. But one thing about is though the Jeeps will have to have a good shooting night, rebound well, and not turn the ball over. Shooting just 27.3 percent from the floor ain't gonna cut it verses Cornerstone's zone. If the Webster Boys play like they can they can win this game. 51-45* Jeeps!!!

The coach is Turtles father Babe. He and his dad have multiple state championships to their name from their time at Benedictine, he is a very good coach. If you've never seen Turtle play it is a unique experience, he probably gets his shot off faster than just about anyone you've ever seen and he shoots it from DEEP and without a conscious, he will not be deterred by any amount of missed shots, the next one will still go up and if one goes down he might make the next ten. He shoots near 40% from three on a ton of volume. Good luck to the Jeeps, just like i said about Monroe Central, hopefully I'm watching you in Dayton next weekend!

I like Coach Persins comments on SOSA podcast on not changing much. He said they planned on doing what got them there and basically they will make adjustments when needed. It was a very good 15 minute conversation with him. He said why change what we got us here when they kids are comfortable in their system.

I have always been a fan of Norm even before coming to Webster absolutely love his style of coaching, he doesn't take no BS if he doesn't like the way his team is playing he will make the right adjustments needed and the regional final against Notre Dame was proof of that

If he plans on letting his team run and play up-tempo like they usually do, I think that will be a mistake against LUE. He knows his team better than I do though, so I will enjoy watching them try! Normally when your group is at an athletic and quickness disadvantage, you want to slow the game down and limit possessions. However, it might be tougher for Minford to score in the halfcourt with the big guy looming inside. Perhaps beating him down the court and scoring before he gets set is part of the plan?

People can say what they want about this game but it is a game in which two legendary coaches will battle minds with one another.

South Webster's Coach Norm Persin with over 800+ wins, highest winning %, 11 consecutive league titles, and 1 state title. Knows how to win, resume speaks for itself.

Cornerstone Christian Academy Coach Babe Kwasniak coached at Cleveland Villa Angel-St. Joseph High School from 2010-2020 where when he won state titles in 2013, 2015, and 2017 and played 5 straight state title games. He also won at state title as a player when his father Ted coached there, his father won 2 state titles. The Kwasniak's know how to win, resume speaks for it. (Do yourself a favor and do a little research on Babe Kwasniak)

Should be an awesome game to watch, the Jeeps can win this game but will have to play one of their best defensive and rebounding games to do it. Going up against more than just the "Turtle" in this one.

I don’t know if Webster has the best team, but they sure do have the best dancing coach to ever come though Ohio. Jeeps might not win state in basketball but ole Norm would win a dance competition any day of the week.
