Burg Boys

Todd Staker/Tanner Holden/Drew Burleson would all probably be a tie

Girls
Kerry Cremeans/Amy Hughes would probably be a tie

Overall Boys: Brett Roberts
Overall Girls: Katie Smith
if going just on highschool ball stollings from eastern has to be in the conversation. I believe she may still be the top scorer career in ohio, boys or girls
she avg 28.4 as a freshman, 34.7 as a soph, 40.3 junior and 42.5 as a senior, incredible
Nope. Stollings took most every shot and played against the small SOC schools. Stollings was incredible, this is no slight to Stollings….a worthy mention. But Smith could’ve beat that competition 1 on 5. I saw both…many times. It’s Snith then everyone else.

Stollings, Jaime Lewis, Jenna Burdette and several other big timers

And probably would have won more state titles, but those were the first years for the official state tournament in Ohio too. Good call.

I got another question who’s the best player in SEO in the last 5 years???

Kayser, Montgomery in my opinion are up there

Trey Robertson 2000 point scorer, also had loads of assist and great rebounder for his size due to athleticism

Would be talking about Eli Robert’s as one of the best ever if not the best ever in this area, all the talent in the world.

Kid has led his team to back to back regional championship games and a state birth and has somewhere around 1500 career points. I’d say he’s done fine. Could’ve done more, probably, but a top ten career in school history. And that’s something for as many legends as we’ve had.

100 percent but as far as opportunity’s after high school should be playing some big time ball I’m not sure if he has any offers remaining.

No lies Trey is the best in the past 5 years, look at the team he took to the final four, not much skill other than him. with 7 divisions teams going to the final four in our area will become common but it sure wasn’t when there was 4.
TROB THE GOAT.

Beard was the 3rd best player on his own high school team. He is very good, but Noel averaged 19 a game for Wright State this year and Maughmer is a starter at D1 Liberty who will probably make the tournament.

Noel was one of the rare 1st team All Ohioans in D1 from our area and is currently 10th all time in Wright State scoring, within a good season from passing Holden for 3rd in 4 seasons.

Kayser hands down best player past 5 years and maybe top 5 in the past 20 years IMO! Kid has a motor that doesn’t stop! Not been many like him! His second effort is something young kids need to watch!

I feel lucky to be the exact same age and she came to Jackson every year for volleyball, basketball and track.

You simply had to see her to believe it.
at one time Katie held the state record for the discus and shot put. Don't know if she holds either one of them for SEO today. She was also a very fast runner used on the 4x200/4x100.

Quite a few good ones at Ironton and Burg. Charlie Kitchen in my opinion from Ironton was one of the best to ever suit up for the Tigers. Had a three year average of 24 pts and 14 rebds. Lesser games than now and no three point line. Dennis Gagai can be put in that catagory also.He had more games and also a three point line.

Nick Aldridge definitely top ten. I believe if Holgate doesn’t hit the three at the buzzer, Webster wins in 2004, 2005 we lost to an illegal Africentric team. 2006 is history.
3 straight regional championship games.
Since Africentric vacated does that mean we secured the title in 2005?
