Wow VC is the real deal
Can go about 12 deep and not miss a beat.
Coach Combs is a class act and a class program.
By FAR the best team I've seen all year.

Nice to talk to Dundas at the game .

Congrats to the Warren Warriors on your big win over the Athens Bulldogs

Need video of the charge at the end of the game...it drew a standing ovation from most of the crowd, even the VC side lol.

Also, kudos to the VC bench as they never once turned around to the crowd. Most teams kids on the bench are often turning around giving facial expressions to the comments of the crowd just a few rows back...VC bench focused on the game. Credit to Combs
Whoever the kid was that drew the charge, you my friend are a man. That was one of the best/scariest things I've ever seen on a basketball court!

How did Lutz do? Last I heard he was averaging close to 30 per contest.

I expected Athens to step back a little coming into the year, but I still thought they would be competitive with everyone on the schedule.

Lutz had 13 points, only 4 in the first half. Warren's Luke Drayer did a great job following Lutz all over the court and Warren used a team defense approach to limit him. Lutz is incredibly gifted with the ball, quick, with very good stop and go moves. You have to have more than 1 guy to contain him. He is very talented. Warren jumped out early in the game behind some hot 3 pt shooting from Kyler Dennis, Bryce Gandee, and Chase Weihl. The Warriors had 9 three's between those 3 players in the first half. Second half, Athens got points from several players and really outplayed the Warriors in the second half, but it was not enough to get back in the game. If these two played again, this game could be close, but tonight the Warriors jumped out early and it was too much for Athens to overcome. The Warriors posted a balanced attack with Dennis scoring 22, Weihl 17, Drayer 13, and Gandee 11. Athens was led by Lutz with 13, Nick Lutz with 9, and Rogers with 6.

Fairfield over Greenfield McClain 54-53. I think the transfers for Greenfield will start playing the next game. Should make a big difference.
