Classy move by Howie letting the senior score. Much respect.

We had no answer for the press. When the refs decided to let the holding and grabbing go I knew we were in trouble. I would have liked to press them back to try and speed up the game, but it didn't happen till the end.

Nice moment with the handicapped boy when they cut down the nets. Very classy. Fans after the game not so much. Off to Pickerington North. Great season Cats, our turn is coming and you can take that to the bank.

Just curious what he thinks Howie did and Simms didn't do.

I did not see any one get out coached. I saw one team execute better than the other.

Word to the wise, Africentric and Danville was rescheduled for later this evening at Bloom-Carroll with tip-off at 6pm. CDAB website confirms this. OHSAA rescheduled the game until later because the Africentric's girls team was playing in the regional final, so they decided to push their boys game back.

If anyone wants a chance to see what Africentric's got this year - not as if much has changed from last year - make the trip.

Congratulations to Coach Howie Caldwell & the Tomcats ! Just had the pleasure to meet Coach Caldwell this season at the Beasts of the Southeast - I was humbled hearing Howie say that he has wanted to meet me for a long time ... I've been a Howie fan from his days court side with Eastern Meigs - it was definitely MY pleasure to meet Howie ... great win, hoping to be over this "stuff"/102 temp and in the Cheap Seats at the Regional games this week ...

I'll tell you this if they only beat Danville by 10, Africentric is vulnerable. Good Luck Trimble.

Huh? That's a pretty unscientific way of looking at how good a team is. They had a 15 point lead in the fourth quarter.

Danville also beat GCC by 23, so I doubt that Danville is a pushover.

Howie is the real deal.Trimble got beat last year in the regional by affric.with the same defense he has.run all year full court pressure. He learned something from that, now he is doing the same.Trimble has the sub's that he didn't last year to run the press maybe not the offense but you can make turn overs into points like they did today.Best defense I have seen played in a game for some time.Trimble playeld 4QTs of team baske!tball and that's what it takes to advance. Also I am very proud to be a Tomcat with the way the boys have taken Howie's granddaughter to be part of them.Very touching ,brings tears watching them inclulding her with their victory.46-4 and still playing good luck Sr's a record that is going to be hard to beat.Tomcat pride

Glad to see a Waterford fan stick true to form and complain about the officials. If your coach would branch out when hiring officials instead of hiring his buddies he might stumble onto a few tournament crews here and there and you could get use to the physical play you see in the tournaments.

Waterford was shooting wide open shots against Eastern. Trimble got out on the shooters. But when Trimble left them open a few times they buried the shots just like they did against your team. So, same team just different game plans by their opponents.
