nice win for the indians, streaks play as bad tonight as they did good last night, flat, tired, starters didnt get a blow. Just not a good game all around. I think they said 16 and 17 turnovers respectively just an ugly game.

Just heard Trent finished with 13pts, 10rebs, and 8 assists. Excellent game on both sides of the ball.

No excuse for this performance from the Streaks as both teams played games the previous night. Peebles just wanted it more and executed better. Piketon ran no offense at all last night, just individual one on one. Congrats to the Indians on the win.

I agree completely Eagles we get superstaritis a lot. Big point of the game was peebles constantly rotating players and we didnt but hey it was saturday night we have watched it all season and the second Huntington game, the kids will play a lot on Fridays or when were playing a really good team, then on Sat. just sit there. Williams and Ferguson have been playing at a high level and are our 2 best defensive players period (and thats not even close) and Southworth can give you a good minute here and there but they sat there the whole night. If you dont believe in your whole team you dont have a team and in our losses this season thats been the case. Farmer, Farmer, Brabson, Brewster, Moore, Williams, Ferguson, Southworth, is a pretty good rotation of players and there is no reason for this team not to be fresh for the whole game.

Sounds like we have a couple of candidates for the job this spring. I heard all of those kids you mentioned in the game on the radio...in fact Williams had four fouls? I find it hard to believe Coach L. not playing his bench...sure didn't sound like it on the radio...maybe they're were wishing those kids were on the floor. So do you think its time for a coaching change?

Trent had an excellent game, almost a triple double. The kid played his best game that night by far this season. Jake also done great playing big!! Piketon wasn't as good as I thought they would be though. Maybe because of the game before I don't know who they played that game though. But you could defiantly tell who the big 3 for Pikeon was. The farmer scored the most, but i thought he missed a lot of shots. And IMO I thought the Brabson kid should have shot more. I liked Brabson guarding Trent. I think Trent handled him fairly well. Moore for piketon I thought was just not in his game you could tell. But I think he is a big key for piketon to win, from what I've heard. He needs to score 20 and so does the Farmer kid.

Jimmy actually williams had 3 he came in with a couple minutes to go in the 2nd, had to guard the big kid from Peebles got 2 quick fouls then came back in the 4th, ferguson came in with a minute to go in the 2nd, came back in when we made the run in the last 5 minutes of the game, Southworth played a couple of minutes but that was it, the reason i said this is in the middle of the 2nd Zack during a foul shot looked over at the bench and was tugging at his jersey (take a look at the game film and see if you see it) which i take for a sign as hey Im winded take me out, and in the 4th when we were making the run we were shorting shots which tells me the legs are gone, after a tough all out war the night before I would have thought rotating players would have been the wise thing to do imo, I watched Peebles rotate the whole game didnt matter who the player was and that was how we approached the game friday and played a very good game, sometimes players get winded doesnt matter how great a shape they are in they just need a second to get that 2nd wind. Nothing was said about a coaching change Coach Lisath has done a great job this season and now that the league is over we dont have to worry about back to back games, and not the wish for these players to be in the game for a personal reason, unless wanting to win is personal, this was an observation on the turning point of the game and what I have seen on Saturday night games, this is just an opinion doesnt mean it is right or wrong just an opinion. I go to a game and I watch, I love basketball and I love the little things in a game, things that some people dont find to be important I do, when a player misses a shot I dont just say darn, i say ok why did the player miss it, was it a forced shot, was their great defense, is he tired and not have any legs left. Hope this gives you insight into why I said what i did.

jimmy, I really don't appreciate your sarcasm. The comments may be well deserved. Coach Brabson and I had a discussion about going to the bench earlier, but Peebles was playing well and taking it to us, we were too afraid of the game getting totally out of hand. Although the players we have coming off the bench are defensive players, we felt we needed to score on a couple of possessions before going to the bench. If I had that "Crystal Ball" of the past, I would've certainly went to the bench early. We work our tails off in practice to be in immaculate shape to prepare for the Friday/Saturday events. I believe our biggest problem the past two weeks were "Big Games" on Friday Night, which required maximum effort and very high emotions. Is that why you develop a bench? (YES)...Does that mean what midgets and eagles is saying is correct? (Maybe)...one thing I've learned about coaching sometimes you have to step outside the odds and go with your guts...Sometimes you look foolish....Sometimes you look like you know what you're doing. The last two weeks...I think Friday Night took just as much out of me as it did the kids. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion...I can't think of any coach in any sport that has never been second-guessed...it is the nature of the business. What's done is done...our focus is on Lynchburg Clay and a Sectional Title.

I'm not a piketon fan, but doesn't coach Lisath have as much rings as micheal Jordan!? The man know's what he is doing. If you don't want him, we would be glad if you came and helped Coach Arey! Then we would have the 2 best coaches around!!

I'm a Piketon fan and I feel if the BOE knows what's best they will leave Coach L alone!! When and if Coach L decides to hang it up at Piketon I feel the BOE should allow Lisath to make a recommendation of who should be the next leader of the Streaks!! When you have installed a program like Lisaths in a school and the kids work/believe in it let it continue as long as it's working and producing results. We all know the results Lisath has produced at Piketon, and something tells me the team this year is not done playing basketball!

Very good post coach, it was just something I had seen and didnt understand, our bench has been a rallying point all season and though mainly defensive players the havoc they create on defense has caused a serious amount of turnovers which lead to offensive oppurtunites trips to the line etc. In no way shape or form does anyone want you to go anywhere this is just a discussion on the game and something I had picked up on a couple of times. The rotation you used Friday night in my mind (which is irrellevant) was perfect and felt the team was fresher at the end of the game. Another thing i saw or should I say didnt see was the best dressed assistant in southern ohio Coach Stanley on the sidelines was that a major factor in the outcome of the game? Good luck Saturday GO STREAKS

I am a Peebles fan and this I know, Coach Lisath is a class act and a great competive person. He always in my mind puts kids first and his record speaks for itself. He does an awesome job and it is tough going on the road and winning when you are playing quality teams. I hope that coach L. stays in the game because we need quality people working with kids and he is one of the best. Good luck to the streaks and Coach Lisath.

You didnt mean to stir up trouble, then why post what you did? Its easy to hide behind a screen name and call others out! I am a big Piketon supporter, just because I express myself, doesnt mean I have an agenda. I dont put anything on here I wouldnt say to straight to our coaches! lol
