Ironton freshmen

Freshmen Tigers won 58-31. Looked good and were able to rest starters a lot in prep for tourny in coal grove tonight. they are now 10-0.

next game for the freshmen is saturday vs either rock hill or portsmouth west. not sure of the time though

2:20 p.m. This game, and the rest of the tourney games, will be played in the high school gym.

The Freshman Tigers looked very good last night. My first trip to see them this year and they are everything they are said to be. The thing I saw that I liked most of all was the team play. They spread the ball around on offense and the defense is awesome. Another plus for this team is the depth of the bench. Congrats on the win and good luck throughout the tournament.

The Freshman game is cancelled. Not the JV or Varsity.

Freshmen are 13-0. they are at gallia acad. on 1/29. At Russell ky. on 1/31. Ashland invitational tourny on 2/2 thur 2/7 ( hopefully, if they would play 4 games ) with portsmouth at home thrown in on 2/5 Thats possibly 7 games in a 10 day stretch.

The ones I've heard that are in the tourny are

Ironton
huntington high
greenup county
johnson central
east carter
ashland
wheelersburg
spring valley

there are 8 others but I'm not sure who they are for sure.I've heard greenup, huntington high , johnson central and east carter are pretty good. I've not heard anything about the burg. The Tigers have played ashland twice and spring valley once . Should be a good tourny.

They play greenup co. sat morning at 9 am. supposed to be a ewal good matchup
