The Nelsonville-York Buckeyes travel to Belpre on Friday night for a league showdown with the Golden Eagles. The Buckeyes are coming off a season high three game winning streak, including their first TVC OHIO league win of the season. The Buckeyes are 6-10 overall and 1-6 in the TVC OHIO. Can the young, sophomore dominated team of the NY Buckeyes make it four in a row?

Belpre won the first matchup in Nelsonville by a final score of 69-44.

Although Nelsonville has won their last three and are better then the first meeting, they don't seem to play very well on the road. I'd say Belpre wins by 12 or more.

Now is the time for Belpre to start stepping up their game as the tourney is just around the corner. Good ball movement is the key to opening up the floor and getting good shot selection.

It would be nice to see Belpre step up their defense too.

Couldnt agree more...when they play as a team(i.e. the Alexander game) they are a very good ball club. When they all try going one on one (like the warren game when we were embarassed) they are middle of the pack in the TVC at best.

You're not kidding... :roll: The people involved in that do not represent most of Belpre...that was an embarassment :roll: :oops: Hopefully the "adults" can act like adults this time around...

Just A Fan, i have to agree, congratulation Eric on your player of the game on Senior Night, you played an awesome game tonight and an awesome team effort from the Eagles....i just have one question for Eric..HOW DO YOU GO 0-3 FROM THE FREE THROW LINE?...lol im just kidding, great game and great win for the Eagles...BEAT WELLSTON TUESDAY

hahah trust me that was the first thing he said when he came out of the locker room. but he played a great game, I couldnt have been more proud of him. The team played very well together also...if they can do that and step the defense up they have a shot at making a little noise in the tournament IMO...
