Most everyone knows that the seedings have some credibility to it but most of it is a game in itself. There is nothing to say that if Wheelersburg was the #1 seed that Ironton/Rock Hill would still be #8 and #9.

Blindwhite hat, do they still vote on the top two seeds and then the other teams go where they want to go by seeding? If that is so, I guess Rock hill and Ironton specifically wanted to play the number 1 seed? Maybe you could explain the seeding process? Maybe I am missing something.

South Point at the time of the draw had played 14 games. 9 of those games were at home and of the 5 away games, one was with Ironton St Joe and one was Huntington St Joe. I don't believe SP played the West Union game that was a scheduled road game. They still have games on the road with Peebles, River Valley, Chesapeake and Rock Hill and still have a home game with Fairland. Now compare that with Wheelersburg. Yes, the Pirates have lost 2 games, but one was to Oak Hill on the road early and the other was to Chillicothe. A team with talent South Point hasn't dreamed of seeing yet. Wheelersburg has also played 8 away games versus 7 home games after 15 games. The Pirates have also played Huntington High (not St Joe), Ironton (not St Joe) and Portsmouth. They beat Chesapeake on the road (something South Point has yet to do)and they beat Northwest twice, I believe. (once on the road, which SP beat at SP). I am sure nobody looks at anything ike this when the draw comes down. i am sure they just vote for their buddies and conference schools. However to say the Pointers deserve the #1 slot, not good in my opinion. The good thing is, they will have to lay the games. If South Point makes it out of the district, I will give them their kudos.
