There is a lot more to the game to be considered (ballhandling, assists, defending, Basketball IQ, shooting inside and outside, making your teammates better when you are one the court, leading, rebounding and posting up). Those are player of the year things.

Sounds like Drew Spradlin to me. 8)

Far from the truth.

Was/Is Spradlin a McDonald's All-American?

Where is he from?

question.... does how far a team goes in the tourney play a factor in who gets Player of the Year, or do they already have them picked?

No, it's based on regular season only and mainly just the conference games because that's usually the only time opposing coaches see the players.

Don't dis the ROCKET

No "dis" intended. We love the ROCKET!
Maybe someone ought to start a chant...
"ROCKET, ROCKET, ROCKET...."

"It’s just my job five days a week
A rocket man, a rocket man...
And I think it’s gonna be a long long time
Till touch down brings me round again to find
I’m not the man they think I am at home
Oh no no no I’m a rocket man..."

justacommentator and olddribbler---thanks for the supprt

now, I cant get POY:::::my son on the other hand,(although in the next sport (baseball) he plays right field that shouldn't effect him if he hits his normal .670) could come out on top.

I never received such an honor.....I didn't mind that though.........
when I was in school, the only thing that mattered was.....
you guessed it
a league title.

-state tourny........overrated????????

justacommentator and olddribbler---You two hopefully know my honest opinion its alllll on the line---
