South Point would apparently have to be 50-0 to get in the top 10! hahaha Geez its crazy! But I am happy they moved up some!

Just goes to show how reputation means a lot too. I understand that. Maybe they haven't played all tough teams but all they can do is play the schedule that they were given. However, no matter what teams you play its very hard to go 20-0 in a season. I think that deserves a #10!! :-D

but of course I am biased haha.

Congrats to everyone that made it on the poll...especially the local teams!!! WAY TO GO! Goodluck in the tournament.

Hey, the all new AP poll. Lose and you move up. Go undefeated and you can't even get in the top ten.

AP poll is still a joke and they should consider getting rid of it. The only thing it usually does is inflates some heads of some players and also puts a bullseye on your back.

I agree!! Last years VC squad was undefeated and not even gettin votes!!! It all depends where your school is located and the schools bball history.

... if "A" poll ain't validated by THE Purple Hippo - it's pretty much not worth a read LOL ...

How is Oak Hill overrated? They moved to D4 this year. Burg is 6th in D3. We beat them once and got beat by them once. Our other losses are to Northwest D2 and River Valley D3. Your crazy to say Oak Hill is overrated!

This might not be in the right spot but i would like to see PFLOYD do the same thing on the girls side!!!

I think that PFLOYD is better at ranking than the ones that does the state rankings!!!

Oak Hill should do very well in the tourney. Of their 3 losses, the Wheelersburg loss was probably the one they should've actually lost. No disrespect to River Valley, but in that loss The Oaks pretty much laid an egg and Coach Layton and the Raiders pounced on them. I thought in the Northwest game, the Mohawks exposed Oak Hill's lack of guard play once Ondrea got in foul trouble.

Loosing Love(no pun intended) will certainly have an affect on the Oaks. But, they're loaded with talent and have an outstanding coach who's "been down this road" a time or two. I don't really see anyone in the D IV Athens 2 bracket matching very well with Oak Hill.

Oak Hill will be ok in the tourney. Not very deep on the bench. Foul trouble will kill them. Wheelersburg is a mediocre team in a bad bracket. May get a chance to return to Columbus. Gives me something to do. Go Pirates.
