Just got back from Jackson as we stayed and watched Fairland and Alexander. Both games were very exciting to watch. Congrats to both teams. Way to represent the OVC! Seniors, you guys live to play another day! Shoe, Rossy, Rase and the entire Panther team: we are proud of you guys!! On to the Convo!!! Let's go Peake!!!

This was one of those games that came down to one or two plays that determined the outcome.

Fortunately, for the Peake, things worked out their way.

Unforunately for Fed Hock, it just didn't fall into place the way that we all would have liked to have seen things finish.

And that's OK. Rather play hard as hell and lose to a tough opponent, close, than to not show up and lose by a bunch to a team that we should have beat, by a bunch.

Chin up boys, tomorrow's another day........

You are right steely all you can ask for is that they play hard. Will be at the Convo to cheer on my fellow OVC school. Good job peake!

Sounds like a great game. Congrats to both teams on a great season. Congrats to Coach Davis, and old Alexander boy.

The FH community has a pretty rich basketball history themselves. While attending tournament games there this past week I got to show my sons a lot of that history pre consolidation via the trophy cases. That kind of history is important and i love when schools take the time and effort to display that history.

I think both teams oughtta be congratulated. they played hard as they could. Were they to play again, the Lancers could win.

Tourney games are a different kind of pressure...different gyms with different shooting backgrounds, different lighting, etc. from what each team is accustomed to.

Let's remember...these are BOYS, not seasoned college players who've played all across the nation. That hoop can look a LOT smaller in a strange place.

There two teams were very even--considering the fact that Chesapeake shot the three ball a lot...which can be hard to keep up with. Good effort by the Lancers.
