I wish they did it like the convo and played all these games back to back for 1 price but the OVAC is money hungry. Now FF fans can't really go to this game if they want a good seat for 3 o'clock game because there's normally a line outside about HR half before tip off.By the time they clear the gym your at the back of the line...The games are fantastic tho 9 am A- Beallsvile (18-1) vs Madonna (17-2) 1230 A River vs Linsly 3A Fort Frye(15-3) vs Magnolia (17-2). 6 4A- St Clairsville (17-2) vs East Liverpool (17-2) 5 Indian Creek vs Wheeling Park

To My River Pilot Boys : You guys showed ALOT of Heart, the way you hung in there and fought back from a big deficit against a VERY good Linsly team !
If only the ball bounces our way a time or two, or a couple of those 3 balls don't go in and come out, it may have turned out different.
You played well against those high profile recruits...YOU ARE ALL WINNERS IN MY EYES !

Was River the higher seed? This was an upset.I was told River should win,Linsly started two freshmen and two sophomores along with 1 senior. I know River did not have any seniors but Linsly only had one . River had 14 wins to linslys 12. Should make a good tournament next year with these two and Magnolia and Fort Frye.

You have to remember that Linsey is a private school that draws students from far, and wide.
I assume they offer scholarships to gifted students, and athletes.

one was a senior and one was a freshman, not twins. Both good players ,newspaper stated freshman had career high in points .

Linsly played a very good game on both ends...No doubt ! But they recruit...period, which i think is crap, they should have a different division for schools like that, that can get players from wherever they want. As far as being an upset, i don't think so, no matter what seed they were...They are quick and play solid defense..seemed like everything they shot went in. The refs weren't very friendly either...Price was fouled on the 3 toward the end, among several others...But hey, it's a learning experience that will help them in the long run ! Lord willing, the Pilots will find themselves up there again next year.

I don't know who Linsly plays, but the team that came to Fort Frye a few years ago had a similar record and was really good.
