Does everyone think Chambers will be on Guthrie? I beleive I would start with Dawes on him. He's got a much stronger frame and I like to watch him play. Strong, physical and leaves it on the floor. I would keep Chambers away from Guthrie at first to try to save on fouls plus I think Dawes will match up better. Guthrie is a very nice post player. His foot work is outstanding. I see him using shot fakes and up and unders to try to nullify the athleticism of Chambers. The guard play will be the difference in this one. Huge advantage in the back court for the Cavs.

ZBD,

Thanks for the support. I am still in a state of shock after seeing the Blue Devils lose the game late against Newark. Two excellent teams, two excellent programs. Those Seniors should be proud.

GO CAVS!!!

Ironman, that's how I felt too about the Southeastern draw but it's spilled milk now. VC earned the first seed on the other side and has done what they've needed to in order to get to this game.

The difference in the game will be the pressure and trapping. If Chillicothe comes out and does this, they should have a comfortable victory. I'd do it personally to get the kids going and into rhythm. Logan Elm came a bounce on the rim away from making Chillicothe pay dearly for a slow start.

The difference will be Humpty! LE matched up well with Chilli, but had no depth on the bench to give players a breather which hurt in the end! Chilli subbed frequently which helped in the end!
If the Vikes can handle the pressure, and play good "D" they can win this game.
The Cavs are and should be the favorite to win, but watch the movie glory road!
Anything can happen.

Cavs faithful,

Lets not even respond to such negativity. I see enough of that in the Elections. I thought we were going to have a good forum concerning the game and Gilligan returns from the island with the guidance of the Skipper and out of nowhere starts some crap. The VC posters are pretty classy and I will give them their chuckle, but lets do this with class.

GO CAVS!!! REFUSE TO LOSE!!! TAKE NO PRISONERS!!! 3 DOWN!

Whoa now Hawk...1st on the list... What makes you think your even on the list. :122249

I'm just kiddin with ya.

Chilli should win easily IF they play to their potential. With that said I haven't seen them play to their potential for about a month probably and from someone who has seen most of their games since the days on the hill, IMO the game against LE was the worst game the cavs have played since Kellough was hired. I think Chilli will step up their game and get the job done. Only thing to worry about is if Guthrie can get Dawes AND Chambers into foul trouble and carry the Vikes. He did it agains McClain and behind Chambers and Dawes we lack depth since the injury to Newman. Good luck to both teams and go Cavs. Get back into that midseason form that had you guys rollin.

IMO Seth Dawes will step up to the challenge of defending Guthrie and perform admirably. Seth is a very strong kid and will not be shoved around on the block and he has better athleticism than Guthrie, that being said...Guthrie is a very polished and experienced performer so i dont look for any of the Cavs big men to shut him down more than just slow him and make him work for his buckets b/c he's going to get them regardless.

I think the perimeter play wins this one for Chilli, much the way the post play won the game against LE.

With all due respect Hitch, putting the word "pleasantries" and Captain Jack in the same sentence is a bit of a contradiction. No, really CJ is a swell guy.

Do the Chilli posters have a hierchy of posters? I bet I can guess who gets Chilli's "Top Pot Stirrer Award." :122246

Best of Luck to both teams Thursday night.
