Peebles, Manchester and Fairfield should be better next year.

North Adams is always good.

I agree, those 4 teams really aren't losing anyone. Lynchburg is losing 5 or 6 seniors, I think? West Union is losing seniors.

It will be a very good league next season...North Adams is not losing alot of players and Craig Unger will be a senior...Peebles has everyone coming back and they still will be young, with Blake Justice, the Seaman kid and the Arnold kid...they will be a very tough game to play...Manchester is losing one kid, and they will be a good team in the small school division...Whiteoak was very young this last season and rebuilding, you can not count them out...Fairfield has alot of there kids coming back, with Cox being a junior and there young head coach this could be a team to watch out for...Lynchburg is losing everyone, they will be going threw a rebuild year, but dont count them out too...They are very well coached...Eastern is not losing a whole lot...they will shoot there way to the top...Ripley is losing a few kids...I really dont know what they have coming up, but they are very well coached...Fayetteville was young this season...I think they have a shoot at winning the small school division..West Union alot of question marks...time will tell with this team. Can not wait till the season starts...GO DRAGONS!!

Fairfield is a team that should improve. Cox will only be a sophomore and it would surprise me if Roark doesn't play some varsity next year. Look for them to be much better. Peebles will also be a lot better next year as long as everyone comes back and they play to their abilities. Justice had as good of a freshman season as I can remember and I don't look for him to do anything other than improve. His mental toughness is especially impressive given his age. North Adams should be very good even though they lose a starter who was a good contributor. Unger, Nehus, Rothwell, and Louden all return as starters and Jimison will be back as well. Bench play will determine how far they go next year. Manchester is always hard to figure out, I think they have good players but for some reason never do as well as they might. West Union may have another rough year as they lose some very good players.
This past season saw a number of freshman make significant contributions at the varsity level with Justice, Michael, and Cox all looking good in their first year. Should be fun to watch these young men develope in the coming years.

Boomer-

Manchester out did their expectations this year. I believe they werent picked in the top 3 in the small school division this year.

My Picks-

Big School- 1. North Adams 2. Eastern 3. West Union 4. Lynchburg 5. Ripley

Small School- Huge toss up... 1. Manchester 2. Peebles 3. Fairfield 4. Whiteoak 5. Fayetteville

I don't know about big upsets because the league was pretty evenly matched this year, no real #1 set apart team. One of the biggest surprises was that Peebles, even though they had a good finish, didn't end up with a better record, as they should have. They let too many games that they should have won get away from them.

He was still out. Not really sure why you would think WO over NA was such a huge upset especially ON a neutral floor. Both teams won and lost some games they probably shouldn't have and as I said, I just didn't see a dominant powerhouse.
