Local superstar,I wouldn't say that Charlie Kitchen would be Wests coach next year.He hasn't been given any indication that he would get a definite teaching job next year.So until that happens I'm sure he's not interested.

I understand what you say General, but Charlie was kinda led to think that by taking over the boys when he did. If not Shame on West. They will be back in the same boat they were in before. One good program can help another

Are administrators (athletic directors, principals, etc...) allowed to coach :?:

I hope West will look into hiring the new coach soon. So the coach can prepare for the off season. Whoever the school hires they need to committ to the summer(players, coaches and parents)

Rumor has it that Green will be looking for a principal and basketball coach.

I don't know about the principals' job but they need a coach. Hopper does a good job with one but not the other.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the Green job open last year? Why take applications for a job, give it back to the previous coach, then the next year open the position up again? :?:

I heard a rumor that SE is not happy w/ Jordan and the basketball program and they might not renew his contract. Someone said it is a done deal, but that is just rumor.

Very lucrative position coming open at Piketon. The boys 7th grade job will open up next season. There coach accepted the position of athletic director. This is a sad loss for the Piketon basketball community!

I think the majority of the people at SE don't have a problem with the coaching staff. It seems to be a select few "in power" that have an "axe to grind". Maybe they should ask the people they are suppose to represent who they would like coaching their kids.

Well Johnny was denied his playing time.

Coach Jordan is a legend and should retire when he wants to.
