The Leslie kid from Northwest has to be high on the list.

I think that hank plays more outside then inside type of game. I say that Stegman will more than likely the best in both soc's but in soc 1 i think that since chaz lawson is playing this year for clay that he will have a good chance at it in the soc1.

leslie was the "in" in their 4 out 1 in motion offense last year, when they played four gaurds. when Ronnie Strickland was on the floor they ran a 3-2, but Leslie was inside in both. His game may be better suited to play the high post, but he was on the low block last year when I saw them.. and he was good at it i might add.

Stegman did play really good as a freshman so as long as he keeps work'n he will be the best down low.

Martin from Waverly. However, with his knowledge of the game and his ability, he should end up at the 3 or possible 2 spot in the next 2 years. He may have to play inside due to the youthfulness of next years squad. However, I would like to see this kid play from 18' and in. With his ability to go to the blocks and boards, he would give opposing guards/small forwards fits.

I seen the Wheeler kid play many times last season and he his definitely not one of the better post players in the league. For that matter Eastern pike had no productive post players last season.

Crossover,
The question is for next season and not this past season. Mark my words, Wheeler will be a force next season.

Hugh Brisker from Minford will be a force in the paint next year.

nest,
I hope your right about him being a force but I have seen his work ethic and i just dont see it happening. But there is more to working hard you also have to be basketball smart and thats something hes not. There are some other guys on the team who could be a force and i think anyone who has seen this team play knows who that would be.

Time will tell. From what I've been told the weight program is paying off and he has developed an outside jumper/improved ball handling. I was told he dominates at open gyms (but then again that is against in house players).
Who else could be a force inside? (Osborne does outstanding for his size, but still isn't a "true post player). Who are you referring cause I can't recall any others that stood out in the paint?

nest,
That is my point there is not a true post player on the team, but i would give Ray Brown a chance to show what he has. He is an outstanding rebounder and hustles till the buzzer every game. He is also unselfish and doesnt cry when its not goin his way. Wheeler is 6'3 and Montgomery is 6'5 and neither one led the team in rebounding. So if these two players are goin to be as good as everyone thinks they will have to work on boxing out and playin defense, because neither one is an offensive threat.

Just talking to someone the other day how much Brisker improved last year, I think he will do a good job this year, Copley knows how to use his players inside and doesn't completely rely on the three pointers.

Hey Eaglesnest, I'm late in the replies, but are you a little pre-mature on your selection?? Are you forgetting Vince Shanks, I don't think the Wheeler kid is strong enough to match him. Hopefully he will improve for your team this year, but last he proved to be very inconsistent. I'm sure alot to do with his age and lack of varsity play, but Shanks is a seasoned good player. It will be great if we see some maturity from him this year, physically and emotionally and maybe he will be one of the best. On a side note---yes Osborne may be lacking in size, but you under estimate him---he has the skills and basketball knowledge to be a very good post player.
