Well the voting is over. Is there anyone that was there that could give some insight as to who else made it?

Congrats to everyone that made it. Interesting that Ricketts didn't make the squad. I also thought Inman might make it if Bales got in.

I believe (could be wrong) that 17 players is the most in the history of the SHL. Most years I believe it is 15 players. I can remember it being 15 players back when the SHL had 12 teams. Anybody have information on how many spots there are and how that number is determined?

probably a tie for the 15th spot. i still think each coach should be able to add a player as honorable mention. what do they get for making all league? honorable mention could get a certificate.

Ricketts and Inman may not have even been nominated by their coach. Sometimes when you nominate too many players from your team, the votes will be spread and you will get less people on the all league team. Interesting to see that Whiteoak got two players on the all league team whereas Fairfield and Lynchburg only got 1, when Whiteoak's record isn't as good as the other two.

I do want give congrats to all the boys who made it. It's nice to see a representative from every team.

Its possible Inman might not have due to the fact that his stats were borderline and he was a sophomore but I cant imagine Ricketts not getting nominated.

I'm not sold on the list being filled according to a team's record...but understand and don't have a definite fix either. Whiteoak was swept by LC and FF, but Seip is a must and Taggert was very deserving....I imagine Carraher wasn't far off the list.

Congrats to all that made it!

Its an individual award, not a team award. How could you ever deny seip 18ppg or Taggert at 14ppg? 14ppg would be in the top half of the scoring averages of the guys on the all league team, and your correct its possible the coach did not put them up.

Also there is no POY in the SHL, and secondly Ricketts is not the best PG in the league...Check the stats pal.

Arey and Payne have separated themselves IMO

I would put Ricketts in the second tier with Iles and Davidson and Quenten Williams of Fairfield

.........................and that my friends, is the UGLYTRUTH!!!! over and over again!
