Waverly moves to 14-4 with an easy win at Northwest. Unioto falls to 13-5 with a loss at Piketon.

Tomorrow may see one of the figured and most debated Sectional drawings in recent memory. Politics or no politics, with 4 teams advancing out of the Sectional and 2 out of the District, many of these coaches will look not only at Sectional match-ups but District as well.

Goal, stay out of the 4/5 slot and a tougher Sectional game, plus avoid a down the road District Matchup against consensus #1 Seed Warren in the other Sectional.

IMO, the slots are pretty balanced based on W/L records. However, league strength, schedule strength and tourney tough teams is how I would rank them. Unfortunately, we don't have computer RPI conference ratings like the NCAA.

IMO, the SEOAL, is the strongest, but I'm biased because I see all the teams. Jackson as an example, has 5-6 losses to Warren, Jackson and Chilly. They however will be a tough out against anyone in the Sectional. They could get a 6 to a 10 seed. That is where politics, coaching alliances and the, "I don't won't to play so and so" come into play.

In any event, good luck to all 10 teams in the Sectional. From a Chilly perspective, we take on all comers. Hopefully, after trips to Ironton and Warren this week, the kids will be battle tested and ready to go to tourney work. League Championships are great, but there is something about District titles that get my blod flowing. That is a topic in itself.

I'd seed

1. Chilli 2. Waverly 3. Fairland 4. Hillsboro 5. Unioto 6. Circleville 7. MT 8. Jackson 9. WCH 10. Greenfield

What I think it will be
Flip Fairland and Hillsboro

I know Fairland could be considered a spot too low, but I wouldn't mind playing Hillsboro at all if I were the Dragons.

My guess is that they were voted there.

But, I was surprised to see them and Fairland flip flopped.

Good to see that Chillicothe got the 1 though.

3-6 was a coin flip. Should be good ballgames with Circleville and Unioto and Fairland and Hillsboro.

Thanks, I couldn't remember if the coaches voted or they had a Poker Tournament to decide seedings.

I think this is a joke with Fairland not getting the 3 seed. Fairland has 4 loses and 3 of them are close games with Chesapeake and a 1 point loss to oak hill. Unioto has five loses with one to McClain. Are you kidding me! Oh well Fairland will have to put that behind them and focus on hillsboro

Unioto lost to McClain without their top 2 players. Why not cry about the fact that Waverly lost by 6 to Oak Hill, which makes your loss significantly better?

The reason why I questioned Uniotos seeding...getting beat by #9 seed Jackson last night by 11...maybe the SEOAL is a way tougher league than the SVC...I guess we will see come tourney time how it all plays out...
