Marietta vs Warren??????Steely Dan wrote:I hope that they do, simply to prove their point. I know that if Woodsfield and Skyvue had been less than a mile apart, that is how we would have handled the transportation for that series between our schools, "back in the day".8) :122245
Fort Frye and H2OFord is the only local rival today that I consider comparable to the Woodsfield vs. Skyvue rivalry from way back. :12223

Honestly Waterford, keep saying it's the officials. I hope you tell all your players that, too.

All silliness aside, best of luck to both teams tonight. Good ruse there too, Rick, made me laugh earlier today when I read it.
Episode #2 of a huge rivalry, bragging rights on the line. I'm guessing it will be about 85 degrees in the gym in Beverly when this one tips off, and standing room only. Ought to be one whale of a game, again.

53-25 After 3 Fort Frye leads ...FF 11 threes and Waterford should probably get out of the zone.

Fort Frye is a much better team if they play anywhere but Waterford.FF wins 9 out of 10.
Re: Waterford (9-5) @ Fort Frye (11-3) Feb 4th
Payback is......well it's a 42 point difference at The Fort tonight before a packed house.
Entire team played very well on offense, and defense, forcing Waterford to miss a lot of shots.
Leading scorers were Chandler with 19, Zack, and Shon with 17 each.
Leading scorer for Waterford was probably Tate Lang, but don't know how many.
Been a long time since the Cadets laid such a whipin on Waterford.
Waterford won the JV game 43-33

I'm sure it was horrible refs that lost Waterford the game. The boys were pumped up.

I think dan might have wanted to whoop them one last time. Wish I could have been there for it. If this doesn't make you think the first time was a fluke, then I don't know what is wrong with you.

smart for the future. i wish norris and hesson could get a little bit of time on varsity. at least dress them so you don't have to have the starters still out when the game isn't close.

Honestly, this outcome is not surprising. As I had previously stated, I thought H2OFord was on the downside of their crest, and this margin tonight certain proved that. Good luck to both teams the remainder of the season.

Let's see if FF can use this week for confidence and a springboard them to a district title.
