Who is the toughest basketball coach in SE Ohio?

Poor judgement? If it were illegal, do you really think the OHSAA has the resources to investigate every accusation that would occur over kids playing outside the district in which they live? The OHSAA is no longer driving the bus, they are allowing the kids and parents and schools to do it. They are just trying to provide some sanity to a system that has gotten out of control.

Oh WAAAAAAHHH here we go again with this transfer stuff. It is so funny how everybody jumps on the "Ironton has transfers" bandwagon. Y'all act like no other schools have transfers. I don't know exactly where Timmy lives but I know for a fact Mike Lamb lives in Ironton. I have been to his house and my son is there everyday.

Just let kids and parents make the decisions that are best for them. They are just trying to better themsevles and what is wrong with that!

I cannot believe that Wheelersburg's Tom Barrick has not been mentioned yet. Coach Barrick conducts a very intense practice that directly leads to the success that his Pirate teams have had during his 14+ years at the 'Burg.

this year will be his 15th year at the burg and has never had a losin record. i remember durin a game this past season he ripped drew because he wasn't playin like he should and the year before that i believe he took cam off and ripped into him at the convo. he has to be one of the toughest coaches in se ohio

Hands down it all goes back to the Hall of Famer, Coach Wolfe. Was my coach in high school, Rick V from GM played for him and Howie was his long time assistant at Southern and he still is demanding as girls coach at Meigs. I had the pleasure of coaching under him at Meigs in the early 70's.

Mr. Howie Caldwell HANDS DOWN!! If you have ever played for or against this guy he is VERY intense....STOMP.....STOMP!! I played against him at Gallipolis when he was at Southern. We also played Wheelersburg(Barrick), Chesapeake(Stormin' Norman),River Valley(Carl Wolfe) and Greenfield McClain(Van Meter). Without a doubt Howie. If you have ever watched him coach volleyball it is like military for those girls. They do not look around at their boyfriends or whatever...they are completely focused on the game. Just look at his coaching resume. I know this is a basketball forum but when a coach can control his players either boys or girls in the manner that he does it is very impressive. Don't think I am downgrading the others this is just my opinion. SEO Preps would not even exist if it weren't for evrybody's TWO CENTS(opinions).
