I believe the late John Eaton was one of them. The late Odie O'Donnell covered Fairland in the post-season that year and had good witeups in the Gallipolis Tribune. Coach that year I think) was Mayo?

I would guess that the kid without his shirt on in the bottom pics is John. He looks just like his son Mark did at that age.
