Absolutely no reason for this game not to be played tomorrow.

The hottest team in the league is scared to play this game? I'd say if anything Valley would want this one now with how well they are playing. I don't know how bad the weather is supposed to be but it shows a ton of immaturity to not take the teams, refs, parents and especially the students who drive into consideration. Just because your Friday night plans are ruined doesn't mean Valley didn't want to play. The rest of the conference cancelled too... Were they all afraid of losing too? Give it a rest pup!

You are telling me Portsmouth can travel all the way to Jackson but Valley can't make a 5 minute journey down one road?

Officials?

And the last game was lost by the Falcons, in regulation, at the foul line. The last game was a great game and poorly officiated, but the Falcons should put Valley away in regulation. Period!

I think all the schools pulled the plug to early on these games tonite. The snow/freezing rain will not be getting here til after midnight ... 2 good teams that will meet sometime again this year and prolly in the tourney when it counts the most as 4 and 5 seeds respectively for the chance to advance to the Convo. !!

Why is Valley scared? That's the biggest question out of this garbage.

Who REALLY BENEFITS from this game not being played before the tourney draw? Presently, Valley sits in a solid position for the 4 seed and is in conversations for the 3 seed. The Falcons are the front-runner for the 5-seed and hope to make a case for the 4-seed, while also hoping to avoid dropping to the 6-seed. Now, please answer me this...what difference does it make if you are the 4 or the 5-seed? The game will STILL be played at Jackson and it is STILL a win-and-advance scenario for a Sectional Title.

So, again, who benefits more by not playing until after the draw? Answer........the team that would lose more by losing than they would gain by winning!!!! As far as the way this cancellation affects the conference title, it doesn't! These two are going to play AT MINFORD regardless of when!!! I think it's silly to act like EITHER team doesn't want to play the other! I hate it that the game got postponed, but no amount of whining or finger pointing will earn a win for either team.
