Glad to see Koondogger has figured out how to shut down TVC teams. Maybe he will start providing Trimble's coach with some ideas about how to accomplish that task, cause at this point that ain't happenin for the Cats.

If they continue to win there games vs the TVC we will be champions of the TVC, All kidding aside good job Coach Helber and the kids! Maybe the football team might play like the basketball team last night!

didnt you pick Logan to lose??? :122247

Who else did Logan lose to on the gridiron besides Nelsonville-York? (who might have been that much smaller?)

Trimble Juvenile have been told Koons has been at trimble trying to assist that group too. Not sure Logan would agree with this going on. But as I have said his services are in demand. You could steal him back from Logan from what i've heard.

I don't think its Curt or Rubin's fault Trimble is losing ... Your not going to win the Kentucky Derby on just a regular horse - meaning, the Tomcats just don't have the athletes to win games this season ... You can put coach Koons at the helm, Howie Caldwell or Rick Pitino - it wouldn't matter one bit!

Hence, the debate of which is more important the coach or the talent of players. In many cases I agree, but I see a lack of effort this year. Not sure the coach can shoulder all that blame, but part of a coaches job is to motivate the players to play hard. Also, Rubin is the JV coach, so I am not sure why he is mentioned here.

Junior varsity coaches typically help out the varsity - and sit on the bench during games ... They're all in it together from a program stand-point - that's why he was mentioned.

The varsity asst coach has input, but not sure how much a JV coach has. Jason Richards is the varsity asst coach.
