Fairfield by single digits. They are playing some pretty good basketball at the moment.
Re: North Adams vs. Fairfield
I look for Sparks and Bales to dominate the post. Fairfield doesn't have much size do they? NA by 12

Re: North Adams vs. Fairfield
Fairfield has a couple decent size guys. around 6'2" or 6'3", but they play a zone, and it is very effective. I am not sure if I have ever seen Bales or Sparks dominate anything in the post. Sparks is more pick and pop and not a post up guy and Bales struggles offensively, but he can block shots but gets in foul trouble..

But hasn't Bales averaged a double double this year? How's that struggling on the offensive end?

Re: North Adams vs. Fairfield
Let me re-phrase that, "struggles posting up" and I would be surprised if he is averaging a double-double but thats great if he is. But i would say post of his points are created from someone else or some put backs. I just don't see either of them dominating in the post, especially since Fairfield plays a good zone. Bales has size but I dont see him as a back to the basket player.Indians45 wrote:But hasn't Bales averaged a double double this year? How's that struggling on the offensive end?

He has had a double - double this year but he is not averaging one. He usually comes closer to a double - double with rebounds and blocked shots.

I actually think Bales could sneak a triple double in against a weak team who poorly scouted him!

Re: North Adams vs. Fairfield
Has anyone had a triple double yet this season, or better yet when was the last time someone had one? For Peebles i know Tyler Arnold had one two seasons ago, Trent Arey had one last season or was very very close, and Daniels had 18pts, 10rebs, 8blks against North Adams this year but that's the closest I've heard.theuglytruth wrote:I actually think Bales could sneak a triple double in against a weak team who poorly scouted him!

I think its been awhile since someone got one. I THINK Brett Beucler got one in high school, but I could be mistaken
I do however know that Jutin Fultz of ripley posted a couple in 05!

Re: North Adams vs. Fairfield
North Adams Varsity got outplayed, but the JV on the other hand was homerama, some little dark complected ref was by far the worst one-wayed official I've ever seen. But after the game was over I found out he lives in Leesburg and graduated from Fairfield along with being fairly new to officiating, bottom line he was horrible to put it politely.cobbtown wrote:Fairfield over NA
