It should't b a fight ! Pief isnt saying anything negative , just the truth . Sometimes it hurts !
mojo, dont write a movie quote to someone if your not smart enough to realize when someone writes one back to you.

athens, i thought the same thing as you. these parents seriously are upset that the coaches dont listen to their "opinions" about how to run a program. what a joke! since when did they become qualified to give input on how to run a basketball program. I should have known one of the ring leaders was a biddy league or little kids aau coach. what a shocker! Im sure he has won some kind of "championship" and that qualifies them as an expert in their mind.

All of this isn't about the coaching it was about our kids not wanting to go back to a practice today when they were told that they would "all be enemies" afterwards... And he wanted them to "feel how bad it hurt be losers".....

The principal is going to be at practice today so i doubt that any blood letting will go on!
It's always freshmen parents who are the vocal ones. Out of fear mainly! Not a single Varsity player or parent complained! Only freshmen parents, what does this tell you?
Look! This is high school Basketball not Rinky Dink the coach is not going to cater to your every request or be your buddy at your request, you will drive yourself crazy trying to control ANY program the next 4 years!
I just wish the coaches would learn to treat the players like men stop the attitudes too many short answers and stupid looks, they are not coaching in the ncaa its hs. Also the kids need to have fun at some point. It's not happening here!

ya ur right ringo missed that movie quote last night ! i will try harder in the future ! like it or not coaching is political , while i agree a coach doesnt have to agree with a parents opinion they should still be open to listening

I should have known it was an AAU coach complaining. All AAU coaches are want to be head coaches except for those that work with teams that are sponsored by Nike or those with Lebron type players then most of those are in it for the money.

oh my goodness, what horrible things to say. how will your little angel ever recover from such verbal abuse!!!! this is a total joke.

all this is a great example of what many coaches have to deal with in this day and age. idiot parents with agendas that have no clue what it takes to build and run a basketball program.

I was there for the whole fiasco. What more could we expect? This summer, it was a fiasco, and it's rolling right over into the season. I've never seen a head coach have to go into the crowd to stop a fan for cheering on her team. It's a shame.

The principal at practice??? REALLY??? I hope that the coaching staff has a set and goes ahead and practices like they were planning on...with/without any principal!!! My kid played 11 years in school and 2 years in college....until education became a priority...I can remember very few times in those 13 years that they didn't have floor burns (and sometimes several) But I never took pictures and tried to cause problems!!! Floor burns have been part of the game for years!!!

Hate to burst your bubble but this doesn't happen in every program and it is embarrassing or at least it should be.

It is embarrassing and not every school has this problem!!! But I'm sure that nothing will change and we'll be having this conversation next week, next year or whenever some people at RV change their attitudes!!! And you wonder why everybody laughs at you!!!
