They lost a couple good scorers to graduation after a solid year but have some talent coming back as well. I think it all depends on how much the two Garrett boys have improves their play. If they have like they did in football then they will be tough to beat IMO. They already have Hood, Chase Mault, Rawlins and a very good JV team back so we'll find out soon enough. I think everyone else in the SOC will have an advantage though due to the fact that these guys all play football and will be in the playoffs and wont have as much time to prepare.

i don't have their schedule yet, but I would guess they are playing in non-league....Webster, St. Joe, and Peebles. They should be a good club this year if they work together, however it may take a few games for them to be ready together with most of them playing football as well.

As battlecats said, I am talking football, hopefully they can win the SOC I in basketball as well this year.

Well thanks to blowing a 19 point lead it is now basketball season for the Tartans. Good season though. I think this basketball team will compete for the SOC as well.
Hopefully the Garret boys step up huge like they did in football and East will be a tough team to beat.

I say starting monday, Coach Bradford will have his team in the gym for open gyms...I can not wait for this years version of the Tartan basketball team, with Both Garret's, Rawlins, Messer, Mault, Hood, Sparks,Jones, and White(if able to play after the football) back this team could be a fun team to watch and contend for the SOC I hopefully.

The garretts twins are overated. Yes they are quick but on the negative note, they are not team players from what being seen. They are all about themselves and how they perform. From watching the East JV previous year Bradford has alot of talent to work with this season. Goodluck Tartans!!!

East will be solid. Bradford is a very good coach, underrated by many, but not by those that know the game. And the JV coach is one of the up and coming coaches in this area. I watched the job he did at the 'Burg in Jr. High and he was outstanding. The Tartans are in capable hands and will make noise in the SOC I.
