Well according to the radio FH controlled the game from 2 minutes into the second quarter. You might know blaming the refs for the loss, typical from all losing teams. I'm sure Eastern with have homer, poor and local doing their game. bottom line is Howie and FH 2-0 in league play.

Well according to you 78, miller and eastern aren't any good, so what if FH is 2-0. They haven't played anyone, now have they. And they only beat eastern by 2 on a buzzer shot off of a busted play. As for the fan getting ejected, that was a set-up from the beginning, they were making a statement to the crowd not to get out of hand.

I am sure if Eastern wins the next match-up with these two the same folks complaining will say the officiating was great.

Great effort by the EAGLES! Way to hang in there and not give up. Youre talking about most of a team that hasnt had any varsity time at all. I dont have a dog in this fight but ive been around bb for a long time and those refs were pretty bad. This is a team that hasnt had hardly any varsity time if any at all playing against a team that has. I do want to say that Coach Britton needs to sub one at a time and not 3. I think if he tries that it will work a little better for the team. Also, we need some more shooters. Theres boys on the team that can shoot and wont. Not trying to cause a fuss but were they told not to shoot? If thats the case, that needs to be re-evaluated. Hats off to the JV. Great game! I do think the Stobart boy needs to be on the court more playing point. All that being said, we are proud of our EAGLES!!

I agree with middle child. There are boys on that team that can shoot. Please don't sub all 3 out at one time. They also need to SHARE the ball. Good Job by the Eastern Eagles.

By saying you are an Eagle fan you are admitting that you have a "dog in this fight." By your logic only those with kids on the team would, "have a dog in the fight." But you are a fan, and can be thought as having a biased opinion. Just sayin.

As per previous posts by you in past years it is clear that you are biased. But hey, most of us are biased toward our teams. Like Dani, I too found it amusing that you claimed to have no dog in it, and then preceded to admit to being a fan. Maybe you could have said, "I had no kid on either team, but when my boy played gosh darn it we kicked the poop out of FH? Yea I was at the game and I truly have no dog in the fight. I actually kind of wanted Eastern to win if I would have had to pick a team. But I really was only there to see how Howsie would do against Eastern on his first try at FH. I thought the officiating was typical for a TVC Hocking game.

For you Eastern fans that believe you were ripped off, how about you accept the fact that your team lost, fair and square? You are just trying to take away from a great, hard fought Basketball game and are trying to take away from a quality Lancer win.

I use to love reading some Eastern fans saying how great it was that Howdee could get refs to change their calls, and scare them into calling the game the way he wanted it called. They claimed that that was not only fair and honest, but by all means part of the art of coaching and the game of basketball. It will be funny to now see them cry and complain when those same officials do those things for Howdee at FH. Yes, funny...

I believe that the boys had a great game last night from Eastern. Nothing to hang your head about. It was a well fought out game with some bad calls but the calls were going to both sides. For Eastern to not have any upcoming talent they sure showed the Lancers and I mean all the Lancers including the coaches what they were made of. To be down by 11 points with 3 minutes left in the fourth quarter to have a tie ball game with a minute and some odd seconds left I believe the boys done a very good job at being a "TALENTED" group. I am sure the eagles had coach caldwell shaking with the two free throws being made to tie the game.
