Re: Top Ten in The O.V.C
I hope to get to the previews on 12-1, so I hope to have a better handle on the teams I am unfamiliar with.
Rock Hill has lost nearly all its starters and bench, so I really don't know any players from that team. I read about a 6'9" manchild in one of the posts. I am anxious to see him play.
I am not familiar with the names from River Valley, but they have a PG that is a streaky 3 point shooter.
Coal Grove is supposed to have some up and comers, but I don't know their names.
I am more familiar with Chesapeake, Fairland, and South Point.
Chesapeake: Kyle Webb and Nathan Copley are both at the top of my list. Both can shoot the 3 and are good at the foul line. Trent Saunders played well as a soph starter last year.
Fairland: Cole Hatfield is a good all around player and team leader. Chad Fisher the soph is good and so is Zach Jordan. They are both quick and run the floor well.
South Point: Lost most of their scoring when Mayo transferred. Cody Taylor will be an inside force along with Ethan Prater if he stays healthy. Kratzenberg had some good games for SP last year.

How can a team lose 20 games? This is what Coal Grove accomplished a couple of years ago. It seems that this would be more diffuicult than winning all your games. Not very many good athletes on the basketball squad.
