The 37 he dropped last year really helped them out Tuesday.
If Jackson continues to lose I would imagine the j.v. players you watched will soon be the starters. If you are going to lose anyway give the playing time to the younger kids.

Jackson has been somewhat competitive in their first three games even with all the missed shots and turnovers but until they find someone that can handle the ball they are going to have a very long season. Even with all the troubles they should be competitive against Meigs.

From my viewpoint, which is not a good backround of coaching basketball....I thought Jordan was tired of the effort given by Jackson and just put in the subs 90 seconds early.

I can't fathom that he doesn't care.

It was unbelievably frustrating for me as a general fan to watch Jackson seemingly outplay Athens the entire 1st qtr....and then be down 1....then outplay them and out rebound them by a large margin the first 19 minutes of the game....but be tied after missing layup after layup after layup....and in the end after all those short misses, Athens never lost air and finally caught on and pretty much made us look very slow with an effort that seemed to say defeat.

My biggest question is why Landrum is not getting more playing time....but I'm guessing if he continues like he has he will.

Meigs 60
Jackson 49

Half Meigs 33 Jackson 16

Jackson did cut the lead to 41-37 but Meigs answered their run and the Ironmen could get no closer.

Congrats to Meigs.

Really hope Jackson gets something going soon. Dobbins should be back in the lineup after tonight's game so maybe that will provide a spark offensively.

Minford 55 - Jackson 46....................................SOC II
Southeastern-Ross 69 - Jackson 57........................SVC
Athens 68 - Jackson 58.....................................TVC-Ohio
Pomeroy Meigs 60 - Jackson 49............................TVC-Ohio

Wow,

Jackson has played 4 games already, all in non-league, are 0-4 and the Ironmen still have two more TVC-Ohio opponents left, i.e., Wellston and VC. Looks like they are having trouble with the TVC, as well as with Larry's old school SE-Ross to include in that mix the SOC II with Minford. Who is the last non-league game Jackson plays against?

I hope Coach Jordan will get them ready for SEOAL play. Looks like it could be a long year for Larry and the Ironmen Team.

Good Luck and Hang in their Ironmen

I don't understand the point you are making?

Jackson would have trouble with the SEOAL, SHL, SOC I, SOC II, MSL, OVC, TVC Ohio, TVC Hocking, SCOL and the Independents.

Jackson retruns from a 3-18 season, are playing without their all-league player from last year and the current lineup Jackson rolls out there accounted for about 12 ppg last year.

And of course we had one of if not the best PG in the SE district transfer who would be a JR, a kid who scored 17 ppg in the SEOAL as a sophomore who would be a SR and a kid who was all-SEOAL as a sopomore and is now a SR at another school all transfer. Needless to say everything would be 100% different....but they are not. Jackson is not very good and right now just needs to get a win.....

Meigs played big in this one with Cameron Bolin And Gabe Hill playing big for them and a good guard game for Jeremy Smith........2-1 is now the record.
