OAK HILL OAKS @ SOUTH WEBSTER JEEPS
Re: OAK HILL OAKS @ SOUTH WEBSTER JEEPS
Like I said before, Oak Hill could not handle the speed Webster brought, so if Webster a not up to par team can out run and play for a little bit Oak Hill, how can the Oaks play against a more tougher faster team like Worthington Christian. Get some speed boys!

Don't worry that tough non-league schedule that Norm is famous for will test the Oaks

So they were down by 4 on the road and won the 2nd half by 28?
Was SW not fast in the 2nd half???

My thoughts were that Webster got scared of Oak Hill's press. The Jeeps just aren't used to handling full court pressure. When they did get it across half court they didn't slow down and jacked up a shot. They just need to slow down a little and they will be fine. And then on the other hand, Webster stopped pressing. Even though Webster's press wasn't the best, it still put that much more pressure on the Oaks.

Ironman92, Oak Hill's full-court press was a big reason why the Jeeps lost. Webster executed and beat the pressure for most of the game, but a 5 minute stretch in the 3rd quarter was devastating. It didn't help that Conner Scott, the team's only true ballhandler, went down with an ankle injury just as Oak Hill was making their run. Also, I think Oak Hill's size wore the Jeeps down as the game went on. We lost our defensive focus and basically got pushed around under the basket the whole second half.
After watching the game, Webster is better than I expected while Oak Hill needs a lot of work if they are going to meet everyone's expectations.

For those of you that commented on my post...good posts and info. I wasn't there and have no intelligent opinion of what happened.
I was simply giving another side to how it could be looked at from what I was reading.
