Peebles vs. West Union
Re: Peebles vs. West Union
As long as Peebles puts last night behind them they will have no trouble with West Union.
Peebles - 75
WU -55
Peebles - 75
WU -55
Re: Peebles vs. West Union
I havent had a chance to see west union, so i really dont know. I can only hope they put their losses behind them and move on.. Hope both teams play well and give the fans what they deserve..Go Indians
Re: Peebles vs. West Union
While I think Peebles will rebound from the loss and be ready to get after it on Friday night, WU has to be very hungry for that first win. While it should be not much of a problem for Peebles, anything can happen.

Peebles should come out on top in this one.Stranger things have happened, but dont think WU has enough offense to win this one.Any one know anything about the big boy from WU?He sat out most of the game the other night, with a shoulder,or chest problem.
Re: Peebles vs. West Union
what was the score and who played well for both teams? did peebles play better team ball tonight?

Re: Peebles vs. West Union
This was the first time I had got to see West Union play this year. I really liked their play in the first half, but it went out the door in the second half. If they can keep up the intensity for four quarters and take better care of the ball, they will win some games this year.
Peebles looked pretty good especially on the glass. I was impressed with the way they hit the glass especially in the second half. This is something I had not seen from Peebles so far this year.

I thought the Meade kid played a very good game...we have to keep working hard and stay in the game and play 4 quarters...it is coming and when we get that 1st win, Watch Out...we can be very dangerous.
Re: Peebles vs. West Union
Great game, so many good things can be said. Every player who stepped on the floor for the indians was there to win as a team. Very happy with what I saw. Even though the Caudill boy had to sit out the entire third quarter due to foul trouble he still came out with 16 points and god knows how many rebounds. Really nice to see him have a breakout game. As for everyone else, starters and players off the bench, it was awesome. Way to go out and show everyone that your ready to play team ball. Andrew Seaman ran a strong point and distributed the ball nicely. Blake Justice had very nice shot selection and also had some nice assists. Tyler Arnold still a force to be reckoned with on the glass and also putting up points in the double digits. Even Meade, way to man up and get some work done underneath. Great job guys. Beware NA, were hungry.
Re: Peebles vs. West Union
I don't think giving NA any sort of extra motivation is a very good idea.

Do you really want to stir the pot, man on the microphone, I'm thinking if you have to ask, you probably really don't know which is sad, but probably true.
I could not attend dut to prior family committments but listened on the radio and talked to others. Sounded like great team ball, and excellent defense. GO INDIANS!!!!!

shljunkie,
You're a bit touchy. I had no intention of "stirring the pot." If the pot is that volatile, there is a problem. I was asking a question. I wasn't at the game and it hard to really "see" what's going on while listening to the radio. My question could have given you an opportunity to brag on the kids that played well. I have said in the past, these kids seem to be good kids. They would like to read positives. I will make a new rule: If you don't (1) reside in, (2) graduated from, or (3) are in love with Peebles, you can no longer post on any thread which says the word "Peebles."
Once again, you called out my ignorance. You have lowered my self-esteem and my chat room confidence.
By the way, great interview by Lawhorn after the game. The man understands public relations.

mr. mic,
as i said before i wish shl junkie would hold a basketball seminar so that guys like you an i could increase our basketball IQ.
now junkie this is a great example of stirring the pot as you call it and what i call yanking someone's chain. and your chain is almost too easy to yank.
now back to basketball, who does peebles play next and where?
are there games still broadcast on nextvsports.com? i have been unable to get that site to work this year.

I, too, would like to know what's going on w/nexttvsports. They show up at the games but nothing is available on their website, unless I'm missing something. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of filming the games if they're not broadcast on the site?
