I agree that SP is losing games because they are setting the big guys. Convo Cody T. played 2 quarters and Greg played 1. Coal Grove each played 1 quarter. Fairland Greg T. played 2 minutes in the varsity game after scoring 21 in the JV game. SP gives up to many rebounds not to use the big guys. Size does matter in basketball and going small every game and letting teams back in the game is not working.

big guys are not sp's problem.......they are trying to let fletcher be the PG, it will never work, kratz is the only one who has any business dribbling up the court, sp had like 5-8 turnovers that wouldn't have happened if kratz was dribbling

Sp has a good team but FHS was just to quick. If you go big against the dragons you better be able to run the floor all night long. If Kratz brought the ball up all the time I think his shot would suffer. I think your coach is just trying to save his legs. IMO

I don't see it that way. Kratz could have taken the ball down the court if he wouldn't have gone to the side line and given the defense another "player" ie the sideline every single time. You can not break a press dribbling to the sideline. How many times did Kratz turn the ball over or try to go backwards? All the guards had trouble with Fairland's press don't blame it all on Fletcher.

All the guards did have trouble breaking the press single handily...when the pointers would have three people back to help take the pressure off of Kratz and Fletcher they would have no problem getting the ball down the floor...I was confused to see how they only did this half of the time and the other half it was like one guard (Kratz, Fletcher, Winkler, Button) was trying to dribble through or around at least 3 people...they cannot break a press with one person, it will just lead to turnovers...im sure the pointers will correct this soon...and there were bad calls too though...i recall once hatfield literally tripping kratzenberg and the refs calling a walk and another player completely hugging fletcher but no call, and it lead to a turnover...but either way it was a fun game to watch and Kratz and Fletcher are great players

dont go wining about the refs i cant stand ppl wining about the refs, i seen plenty of calls down low where godby n berry were fouled pretty hard n they never got called.
even if they did call a foul on hatfield it wouldnt have made a difference, they way he played in the 4th quarter they werent going to lose.
id hate to see what he could do to teams if he would play all 4 quarters like that.

In all fairness, every game has its share of bad calls both ways. Just ask the fans. ;-)

and possibly tell the to play some defense lol.
