This Friday is a big night in SHL action! All five teams will be playing!
Lynchburg Clay @ Fairfield- Lynchburg is coming off a tough loss to North Adams but I look for them to come out fighting. Should be a great game in my opinion! Ill take Fairfield at home by 5.
Manchester @ Whiteoak- Manchester is coming off a big win and Whiteoak is coming off a moral victory! With that, I believe Manchester is to talented and wins by 10.
North Adams @ Eastern- NA is coming off an easy win and Eastern is coming off a big loss, with that, NA is playing to well and Ill take them by 15.
Peebles @ West Union- Rematch of the Holiday tourney. West Union played with them in the first half, if Peebles comes out slow like they did against Whiteoak, look for West Union to be up at the half. In the end, Peebles has to many weapons and will win by 10.
Ripley @ Fayetteville- Ripley has had trouble scoring this season and Fayetteville will play uptempo and can score a lot. I look for which ever team to control the tempo to win this game. It is being played at Fayetteville which is a tough place to play so I will take Fayetteville by 8.

Looks like good games on tap for Friday night; hopefully the weather will not wreak havoc!
I too will take FF over Lynchburg; sounds like FF is playing better and Lynchburg is just in a definate rebuilding phase.
I look for Whiteoak to give Manchester all they want, esp if Michaels is playing well. I think they are well coached. I'm not sure they'll have enough though so I'll take Manch in a close one.
Don't think Eastern will have enough to get NA but it's at Eastern and stranger things can and have happened.
Peebles vs WU: Peebles showed last night that you just never know and the big guys for WU could create some problems. I still don't think it will be enough to beat Peebles though.

Fairfield should be able to beat Lynchburg handily.

In the end however Peebles stepped it up in the 2nd half and out matched W.O.....I'll take Manchester by 4 since it's a road game for them...but don't count out W.O. if they bring their A game all 4 quarters.

Peebles, I thought, would be the only team with a chance of beating NA and unfortunately they couldn't get it done either time. Anything can happen in the SHL and usually does but I just don't see anyone else beating NA.

Are you serious Hounds are for real...given that W.O. is inconsistent Manchester may be able to beat W.O. if W.O. has a bad game...but W.O. is playing at home and played a decent game Tues. night against Peebles(who laid the SMACK-DOWN on Manchester the last time they played ).

In fairness I think Hound was joking about West Union beating Peebles and Lynchburg beating Fairfield since he put the laughing smiley after those two. Only way I see West Union beating Peebles is if the Peebles varsity are all struck down by the flu and they have to use the JV and freshmen. Even then it would be close.
I agree with you though about Whiteoak, I think they are better than he is giving them credit for.

Apparently Eastern Brown was closed today. Game has been moved to tomorrow with the freshman game starting at one. At the conclusion of the boys varsity game the girls teams will hit the floor between 5 & 6 to take on Ripley in a make up game. Gonna be a long day of basketball at North Adams tomorrow.

The Ripley and Fayetteville game was a huge shocker, Ripley must have played pretty well to get a win at Fayetteville. They didnt have any problem scoring either. In the Cinci Enquirer, the NA and Eastern game went into OT. That was also a surprise to me, in that, I thought NA would win easily. Peebles rolled past West Union as most thought they would. Manchester barely escaped with a win against Whiteoak. They are playing some great ball, they played two great teams close last week. Lynchburg must have played well for it to be a close game at Fairfield. It was another great weekend of basketball in the SHL!
