Congrats Eagles. Couldn't make it, but heard you played hard and shared the ball very good. 8-4 (7-1 in the SOC1.

Clay struggled most of the night after getting down early. Eastern went up 12 - 6 on a McVay three pointer at 2:36 in the first. They extended the lead to 18 - 6 until Bussler hit a three for CLay to make it 18-9 with 34 seconds in the first period. Another 3 pointer by Bussler in the second quarter bring Clay to 22-12 with 6:20 to go in the second quarter but Eastern pulls away to their biggest lead in the half at 30 - 14. Valentine for Clay picks up three fouls in the first half, two on weak charge calls. Clay manages to pull back to within 9 points in the third quarter but after two turnovers and another charge call on Valentine. (3 charge calls and not one time did the defensive player ever hit the floor or even fall backwards.) Clay just ran out of gas in the fourth and Eastern goes up 51 -36 at the 6:15 mark. Eastern throws two long outlet passes off of missed shots by Clay and goes up 61-40 with 3:18 left in the game. Clay players are out of gas and getting out hustled. Subs come in at 63-40 and play hard both ways to the final score of 70 - 48.
For the second game in a row Clay only take about 6 fould shot, hitting three. Eastern got into a good rhythm in the fourh quarter and started a good running a gunning game and poured in 29 points. Good luck to the Eagles the rest of the season (Except, of course, that make-up game at Clay)
On a funny note, I loved watching the three senior home coming attendant girls shoot three point shots in their dresses and gloves.
WOW....that was pretty funny..I didnt think anyone was really paying attention to us....now im a little embarrassed...lol

i apologize then and I agree it doesn't make any sense when they were doing good down low the first half
