What are the largest blowouts you played in and the largest blowouts you have witnessed...at any level.

Jackson 7th grade girls 52-3... this year


That I was a part of:

Jackson 72
Wellston 6........1986-87 7th grade matchup in Wellston....all 25 of Jackson's players played and Wellston's top player Shawn Buescher played up on the 8th grade team instead of plaing on his grade level.

4th grade tourney at Alexander....1984
Jackson 42-4 over Coolville
Jackson 44-2 over Shade

Coached and lost during a biddy league contest 33-2 to a team that left in 4 of the 5 starters and were triple teaming at half court and screaming at the kids to steal it with less than 30 seconds.....4th grade girls mind you.

Of all of these (and most people who follow basketball have amny more than I) only the 89-17 Biddy League and the 33-2 Biddy League could've been better controlled by the coach...he left in his star son and the other very good players just drilling the opposing KIDS.

I'd like to hear others past experiences of playing or witnessing and what they thought about them.

I remember back in school when Valley beat Clay 102-53 or something like that........AND YES EVERYONE on the bench played that game.

Back in the 1970's when Valley had the Merritt's, Joe Wills, Randy Evans, and Wayne Street they beat Northwest something like 118 to 60. As far as I know that is the most points a Valley team has ever scored in a game.

That Eastern team was stacked......and Eric Caudill was still in 8th grade or was he a frosh....I know his brother Larry was big player on that team.

Caudill would've been a frosh in 1988-89.

Being familiar with Eastern Pike a few Marlene Stollings scores might be impressive. I know her junior year I think Eastern beat Jackson something like 59-58 and Marlene had 57 of Eastern's points...also being the record for the old gym at Jackson....now the Jr High gym.

1983 shawnee invitational -- New Boston entered the game that night at 8-0 . Our Greenup Co team beat them 82-32. That team featured Mike Scott who started at Wake Forest as a freshman at center. Several other kids got college offers off that team. ( still lost to portsmouth that year ) MD

My senior year at Chesapeake (1999) we beat John Marshall, who was #3 in AAA in WV, 102-42 give or take a point or two.

Future is correct. NCH beat Wellston by 101 when OJ and Bill Walker were teammates. The game was at the Veterans Fieldhouse in Huntington. I also remember when Wellston played SVSM with LeBron and the lights went out in the gym. That was also a beating. Can't remember the score but you could imagine.

Back in the late eighties and early nineties, I was the deliverer of many blowouts on NES's Double Dribble. The fall-away in the corner was un-guardable. In fact...many of the posters on this site fell victim to my superiority. I'm sure they won't admit to the humiliation.

It was 111-54... I think we had 59 at halftime. I remember wishing that I would have played more than a quarter and a half because I had 23 at halftime, and 19 in the 1st quarter. It's one of those situations that you have pull the starters, when you get a little older you realize these things. Coop, I still think that scoring record would have fell that night.
