Oak Hill @ Wheelersburg 2/10

Where are the guys for the Oak Hill student section? It was all girls and you know how you could tell. When they started the cheer,"You are ugly." Come on, that is so 6th grade.

The Oaks cheerblock will need to be stronger come tourney time. Must be a reason why there are no guys. Anyone know?????

I thought the Oak Hill student section was chanting "This is ugly" when the score was getting out of reach in favor of the Oaks.

Funny stuff hearing both student sections chant back and forth.

I'm not sure what they were chanting but it was an awesome game. Glad to be an Oak Hill fan. Great points crazee we did come out and punch them in the mouth and they had no right to say our student section was childish after some of the things they said! GO OAKS

Actually they were Pirates through and through, not Falcons. I believe the two you are refering to had been at Wheelersburg since the 6th or 7th grade, so they spent all 4 years in the high school as a Pirate.

Every school has transfers nowadays. Look at South Webster. Without Waginger transfering in to SW his senior year the Jeeps probably don't win the state title. They may have still won it without him, but it would have been a lot more difficult.

i know but they did move to burg for sports so for you guys to chant that at us was not classy because thats exactly why ondera and borden came to play for the oaks...my statement remains true they came from minford to burg at some point in time!

and yes every school does have good players leave to play for a school with better athletes or a better coach...my point is you dont say jackson oaks to another crowd...then turn right around and chant final four to a team that has never been there when that team that went to the final four had a couple of transfers on it..this is my last post of the night...great job oaks...lets get the falcons on friday and bring home the gold ball!!!

Not this year, or anytime in the near future, for that matter. I beleive the Oaks are the team with the shot at the Final Four this year. Great to see the Oaks put it all over the Burg. Got to love that. Classless on the Burg student section, yes. All night.

I think it is interesting that Oak Hill cuts off their enrollment so they can beat up on smaller schools come tourney time. Now that's classy.

Live4sport----Oak Hill cuts off their enrollment? That is the funniest thing I have heard in a while. When every student means money Oak Hill can't afford to cut off anyone from coming to Oak Hill. You sound petty and jealous.

I thought both cheerblocks were great, innocent fun and I thought the fans on both sides enjoyed the banter back and forth. My only complaint as far as the burg's play is not getting back when #10 was runningout after the burg missed shots, to many easy layups because of just not getting beat back down the court. The burg is young and they just got beat by a better team. With stegman on #10 the burg really didn't have enough size to match up with #44. #10's length at the top of the oaks zone really bothered the burg's ability to run their offense. The burgs is young with no seniors on the team and playing 2 juniors, a few sophmores and a freshman. Stegman is pretty hard to handle right now, he will be very difficult for the other soc teams to handle the next 2 yrs. Nice to see lang dressing by the way. The oaks look to have everything you need to make a deep run in the tourney and the burgs future looks bright the next few yrs.
