This should another typical Ironton vs. Portsmouth battle.......hard nosed and intense.........the Trojans haven't beaten the Fighting Tigers at PHS since the 2002 season.......and have lost 14 of the last 15 overall to IHS........

If Portsmouth can win its final 3 home games.......Ironton, Gallia Academy, and Warren, it will finish with its first winning season since 2002.

We are due for a home win over Ironton........GO TROJANS!!!

I wore the Gold sweater with the maroon mock turtleneck to the Zanesville-Portsmouth game....

...since Portsmouth has now lost 2 games with that combination, it has now been retired...

...since Ironton has NEVER won while I have worn the black sweater in attendance.....

OMG - I just happened to pick a black sweatshirt to put on when I got up this morning - now I've read this thread and I am immediately going to change clothes. I'm having trouble getting the drift of the superstition, though. BLACK is an Ironton color - so if wearing it is BAD luck for Ironton, then what is a good luck color? If anti-Ironton folks are wearing black then maybe I should find a BLUE shirt to wear to be properly anti-Portsmouth? Somehow that's just wrong!!
