Congrats Indians!

this game wouldn't have affected the gold ball--might've put a smudge on it (or really this loss might've smeared it), but the gold ball only takes into account the league record.
can't believe peebles didn't run away with this one.

Peebles 74 - Green 61 Final.

Green played their best game of the year. I saw good defense, kids boxing out and fighting for rebounds the whole game. They never quit. Turnovers were the difference though, many unforced. Peebles is a great outside shooting team and play good defense. The Indians only weakness is the lack of an inside game. At least it was tonight. The game was closer than the final score indicates. Well worth my money. Good luck to the Indians on the tourney trail.

Green played the best I have seen them play in along time
if the would have this well all season they would have more
wins than they do, and if they play this well they can win
their sectional. Best of luck to the Bobcats Wednesday night.
best of luck too Peebles the rest of the way.

Better not get off to a slow start against Valley/ or Portsmouth.

I have Andrew down for 25 and Blake at 24(now Peebles all-time leader at 1503). Andy Countryman also had a huge night(Im guessing around 15). Peebles JV won by 7, they played very sloppy.

oh, I don't think we're going anywhere for quite a while sweet pea....nice crowd tonight for a long road trip....always nice when you have as many if not more fans than the home team and that's been the case several times this year!

Yes the fan support was pretty good tonight. I really hope slow first halves dont become an epidemic come tourny time, im not to sure we can make the second half statement against a team like Portsmouth or Ironton that we have lately. Green impressed me tonight, they came out shooting and didnt force themselves into a game the Indians could take advantage of. Green/Manchester would be an interesting matchup in the tourny. The bobcats have improved tremendously from last season.

I think the Bobcats should be very proud
they played with one of top D-III teams
is the State. They played the way the should
have played all year for the first time this year.
Green played both 6'5 kids together for the first time
they still need to play them together the whole game.
If the Bobcats plays well and hard the have a great
chance on winning the sectional.
Best of luck on Wednesday with East.

many times teams play to the level of their competition. as i said before, the farther you go in the tournament the more people jump on the bandwagon. you will see fans come out to support the team that you haven't seen in years.

IMO Green played up, atleast in the first half. They nailed their open jumpers and played both of their bigs to try to put Peebles at a disadvantage in the post. If the bobcats continue to play like that they could suprise some people come tourny time.
