Pioneer Valley 13-14
Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14
Idk what it is with you guys and Caldwell, Weichman is good but no one else on their team stands out to me in my opinion.

Clark is an outstanding player who probably had better stats then Brown and was a freshman.

Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14
Clark had a really good freshman season and is easily better than both Brown and Jorris. Brown is a terrific defender and Jorris is a solid shooter but neither of them are going to hurt a team with their offense. Nixon, if healthy will be by far the best Central player and a candidate for player of the year.
I don't think saying Toland could average 15 boards a game is unreasonable at all. I watched him play against my sons team twice last season and read the Jeff every day. I believe he had a few 20+ rebound games last winter. He is like 6'7 and a good player, a lot better than I thought he was going to be.
I know Caldwell only won like 7 ball games last year but they played all freshmen, sophomores and one junior. They were in pretty much every game. Lost tight ones at River and Central early in the year, lost a really good game at home against Fort that they led until late third quarter, blew a pair of games against an all senior Shenandoah squad with young mistakes late in games, led trail until mid 4th quarter at home at the end of the year, beat an athletic Ridgewood squad and gave Hiland all they wanted in the tournament. Probably would have won a few more games but coach sat three of our best players for awhile for some off the court stuff. I think they will benefit a lot this coming year from last season. Coach said at the banquet that he threw them in to the fire and they had to learn on the fly and that was the truth. Next year they will have experience and another year to mature. I think they will surprise some people.

Probably, but they did sit for a long time. It was pretty much just boys being boys, they are all good kids. Oh well, they won't do that stuff again, lesson learned I'd say.

Toland best post player in terms of dominate in the paint. Seth Legrean is most versatile big.

Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14
One kid who was just a role player was a junior, all of their other players were seniors. The River JV team was bad, football coaches son was the only decent player. Heard they had a nice incoming freshman class though.
Toland is the best true post player in the league, LaGrean might be the toughest match up. He has size and can shoot the three. Kid plays hard. His weakness last year was that he couldn't use his left hand at all. I think he will have a big year for the Fort.

DSpy, your list shows how incompetent you are at judging the players of the PVC.

Yea right just because I don't give your unproven Noles credit yet? This list was based on merit.
Re: Pioneer Valley 13-14

I think Anderson will have a real good season. He is a nice spot shooter and is great on D.
