Don't count out Sheridan, they have two quality guards. I wouldn't want to see them in the first round and they play in the very tough MVL.

I'm not so sure the MVL is that great in hoops THIS YEAR ... Football? definitely. Basketball? Not so much.

John Glenn, Sheridan and Tri-Valley are the only 3 teams with winning records.

If Warren can beat Athens hopefully combined with wins over FCA 2x, Portsmouth, Valley and Fort Frye 2x there SOS will be enough to land that #1 seed.
Logan Elm schedule isn't on par with Warren or Athens. The win at Athens in December shouldn't mean as much as beating Athens in late January.
In 2010 Athens had the best record but LE with a better SOS ended up #1 seed. Seems like LE fans are now arguing the opposite of what they did in 2010.
A December loss to Bishop Watterson on the road, a home loss on a last second tip in to a highly rated AAA school in WV and a loss to a PFloyd Elite 8 team in Portsmouth shouldn't knock the Warriors from the #1 spot.
The same goes for Athens. If either finish out the regular season undefeated they deserve to be #1

One of the biggest regular season games this year, The Warren/Athens game will be epic. Great players on both sides. Great coaching staff and great fans. Games like this don't come around every year. Hats off to the Athens team and the community support. The Athens sports program is in it's golden age 4sure.

Vinton County has quietly been going about their business getting better EVERYTIME out. Coach Combs has done a great job with his young squad. A team nobody will want to play at tournament time.
Warren\Athens showdown set for Tuesday at The Warrior Dome. Winner has a huge late season win to take into the tourney drawing room. Good argument for #1 seed!
