I was wrong. Nothing is a foul and we can’t finish at basket

Kudos to Waverly for scheduling this game knowing the week they would have leading up to this game. It will do nothing but make them better come tourney time. Don’t read too much into this outcome.

Wallis 18
Bragg 10
Donaldson 8, 11 rb
Hammond 7
Kuhn 4
Spires 2
Winters 2

Futhey 12...15 rb
Robertson 10
Brown 6
Stulley 4
Smallwood 5
Goodman 0

Jackson now 17-2 for the first time ever in a regular season.

Big crowd! Jeremy Ward and Smith? Did a great job officiating. Not easy to officiate these games.

Incredible discipline on defense allowing 19 points through 3 quarter. Fourth quarter Waverly went balls to the wall pressure and got a crazy tempo going. Waverly’s best quarter was easily the 4th quarter. Waverly should be locked into that 4/5 matchup in seeding. Very athletic and solid team. We may meet again.

Some good words for Waverly.

Futhey was outstanding. 12 pts, 2 3’s, 15 rebounds. Ran the court, great athlete.

Brown...kid has some impressive pogo sticks built in

Smallwood...looked to have some solid post moves. Surprised he didn’t get a few more looks. Solid player.

Stulley, great defender. The charge he got on Wallis showed incredible quickness and anticipation. Took it to basket when it was time. Excellent defender but I’ve known that for 6 years.

Robertson, wasn’t his night but he was being greatly guarded. Moves great without the ball. I love his mid range jumper. Didn’t force anything. Great hands when guarding bigger players.

Battled darn hard in the 4th quarter.
