Because that's always a great message from a coaching staff: "Our kids are going to pummel your kids this season because your kids beat us last year and aren't even on the team anymore!" Not to mention I HIGHLY doubt Robertson is the coach next year either.

Classy stuff there.

I said they will be, as in I don’t think the games will be very close. Waverly loses a lot, Valley does not.

I won’t, and will never get into the “these fans are idiots” bashing of a community because in my time in SEO, I’ve PERSONALLY seen a fan from almost EVERY SCHOOL (including Waverly) get tossed or act like an idiot in some fashion…it’s just the what have you done for me lately crowd.

I’ve heard many many times where entire crowds from almost every school (including Waverly and Valley) have ridden the refs the entire game.

If you’re going to throw stones at a community, don’t forget the things that have happened in your own…even if in the past.

Good Luck to the Tigers the next game, I won’t be classless enough to root against them.

You make some good points, but I don’t think it’s “classless” if you root against somebody. It’s a choice. Western is in our county and I know kids on that team….and I’d much rather see them and their community advance.

Watched this entire game and I will be very surprised if Valley doesn’t win this. Bigger and more athletic at every position. Western kids play hard but I just don’t see them winning this.

Very silly and unnecessary

My only fear with Valley is they didn’t utilize their bench a ton in the season and that could come back to haunt them here. They tried to play 5 guys as much as possible.

Western is well coached, they probably go right at Valley’s foul trouble to begin the 3rd.

Western seems more controlled. Most of their drives to the bucket end in blocks or misses but getting open 3’s. Valley more athletic but missing shots and don’t seem quite as composed.

We’ll see how the 2nd half goes, but looks to me like Western can win

Stuart has some CRAZY hops! Valley’s length and athleticism is bothering them, but Western plays team ball as well as you’ll see anybody around do it, and are comfortable in the environment. They flat out have some dog in em on D!
