Roberts played lights out for the Jeeps tonight. He attacked the basket, scored from mid-range, drained some threes, and was 10-10 from the FT line. NW beat on him all night and he responded well. He is definitely a difference-maker.

Would’ve been about the same score I feel….Jackson won’t take bad shots against the zone.

Probably best game of his career so far that wasn’t against some cream puff team. Didn’t see much of the bad attitude tonight either. Super impressive considering the accident over the weekend. 10/10 from the line, never even hit the rim. Good to see after the struggles he’s had from the line this season. Let’s build upon that and finish the season out strong. Play that stank defense for four quarters instead for the fourth quarter, and you’ll beat the brakes off of anyoneMattyIce wrote: Tue Jan 31, 2023 9:21 pm Roberts played lights out for the Jeeps tonight. Really entertaining game. I saw a little attitude stuff from Roberts early but he definitely played strong in the second half. He’s hard to handle if he goes into the post some. Was really impressed with Sommers and Collins. Jeeps will make a run in D4 for sure. The Ghost of Swanker wrote: Tue Jan 31, 2023 10:56 pmProbably best game of his career so far that wasn’t against some cream puff team. Assures Green the 5 seed. Does the South Webster loss drop them to 4 seed? That will be a tough matchup for Green.
Re: Tuesday,1/31/23, games and scores
According to the Piketon radio broadcast, Whiteoak couldn't miss from 3 in the first half. One Whiteoak player had 6, i think, and maybe 10 for the team at half.danicalifornia wrote: Tue Jan 31, 2023 9:08 pmThat score surprises me after watching both teams recently. Wouldn’t have guessed a blowout either way.

Re: Tuesday,1/31/23, games and scores
The Northwest and South Webster game was physical to say the least. The Roberts kid showed some maturity in the second half. His ceiling is very high for the future. He needs to add some muscle and continue to develop his game. If he does, I would think that he’s going to be very good by the time he’s a senior. He’s already a matchup nightmare. Northwest just played really well last night and didn’t have too many turnovers. South Webster may not have the best record come tournament time but I also wouldn’t want to play them in the tournament, either. The SOC2 prepares them for good tournament runs.
Re: Tuesday,1/31/23, games and scores
They have the same record as Paint Valley (13-5) and the only mutual opponent (Valley) -- South Webster beat on a Friday night, and the next night Paint Valley got blown out by Valley by 20+. More often than not I"d assume that'll be taken into consideration.bearcat12 wrote: Tue Jan 31, 2023 11:50 pm Assures Green the 5 seed. Does the South Webster loss drop them to 4 seed? I'd imagine South Webster is still the #3, and Paint Valley is the #4.... but who knows with coaches voting these days.
I also agree Green stays the #5 and then Notre Dame #6 followed by Eastern Pike #7.
We will all find out Sunday at 1:00!

It’s not so much the score. That game was just played at a snails pace. Jackson might’ve had 3 possessions the entire 4 minute overtime. Scored twice so they were efficient i guess.
