Re: Federal Hocking 08-09
The spelling is not going to be completely accurate, but is was something like Micah Pfalskraph, or something like that. The kid bailed half way through the season and went to a private prep school in WV. He was a senior, but from what I understand gets another year of HS BB since he's enrolled in a prep school. However, this school cannot participate in the state tournaments with the public and catholic schools. At least that is what I've been told, so don't blast me for any inaccuracies!

nothin personal, not a genius nor am i jealous.... LOL. just giving my opinion that all. as for helping coach e out.... am collecting my retirment checks and enjoying it... can hunt, fish, golf, vacation whenever i want...... wouldnot give that up for anything. you might be surpriised with my keyboard experience... lol but fifteen years experience!!! now that is impressive... lol

Swish....couldn't have put it any better myself! Jealously is so ugly. This guy has been stiring the pot from day one. Give em' time, and experience playing together before you start to judge and downgrade anyone. You know the players read this crap and talking negative about them and their new coach doesn't help. Stand behind them not in their way. Best wishes guys and stay positive but most of all have fun!
ps. you can fish, hunt, collect checks, vacation anywhere you want, however the best thing your good at is running your mouth and running people down. How about giving up that?

Re: Federal Hocking 08-09
What happened to just letting them play ball...win win lose lose. Its not like any of these boys is lebrone james, or any one person is an expert. I honestly believe the coach will do the best he can with the material he has to work with. He will give it 200% and heart, the team just has to want it. Let's just wait and see before we go jumpping to conclusions or questioning the new coaches actions. Why this.....why that....no hope here...blah blah blah... He does everything for a reason, sounds to me like fed hock needed life to the program and believe you me....you got it!
Lets not dig the grave yet ladies and gentleman....there is a whole season in front of us.
As for assissan...i didnt tell you off, just trying to be optimistic something that must be hard to come by in south eastern ohio...if its not in this thread its been in another. i am over your comments I just consider the source.

JV Rebels looked really good. Those Freshmen that split with the varsity played pretty well all day......They were too physical for the undersized JV team of the Lancers. I heard the lancers JV won the quarters after the JV coach took the freshmen to the varsity side. Good Job to both teams. Fed Hock's Varsity won most of the quarters. Look out for the Rebels later in the season.

I agree. They played a lot better defense and worked the inside game. I'll remit my comments about battling for last against Miller. Still a lot to work on, but much improved in 3 days. Go Lancers!

GO LANCERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone relax the Lancers will be fine. We will win the league through hard work and dedication. It won't be easy but we can and will do it.
Re: Federal Hocking 08-09
Best of luck Lancers from Devil country! You have a quality coach and person that any program should be proud to call their coach who just to clarify coached at a DII school not a "small DIV school" when speaking of girls hoops. He also played some ball too in the day and I wouldn't bet on anyone challenging him to a 3pt contest or ft contest!

Re: Federal Hocking 08-09
Setting back and watching, from day one, all I can say is that I am EXTREMELY impressed with coach E. Not taking a THING from the two previous coaches, who I consider both to be friends of mine, and are each outstanding coaches.
But Coach E brings a new approach, and a ton of knowledge from an entirely different background. I think that is just what the doctor ordered for the program, both short and long term.
He is a class act, and we are lucky to have him.

2S2D - Well said. Look forward to seeing Coach E. meld this team into a cohesive, high-performing group. Coach brings a ton of energy to the job, that's for sure.
Re: Federal Hocking 08-09
Coach E. has the boys looking better all the time. Sat, aginst Athens & Millersport the lancers looked better. They still have some work to do, but its all coming togeather. Need to cut down on the turnovers and put the ball in the hole. Athens looked good, nice D. The wittien boy is a nice player. Just a few days till the preview. I think coach E. will have them fine tuned for there opening game. Good luck. & Go Lancers.

Re: Federal Hocking 08-09
they always struggle in the tourney because they play smaller schools in thier league they should move to the ohio div.
Re: Federal Hocking 08-09
They have played small schools in the past, but it appears the schedule is tough this season. River Valley, Fairland, Charleston Catholic, Rock Hill, Wheelersburg, Fairfield Christian, Warren. These are quality programs and should help the young Lancers come tourney time. Hopefully we can win a couple of these while we're at it.
