You can take the boy out of the 'ville, but you can't take the 'ville out of the boy!!
Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
Everytime a team pulls it out to hold the ball it backfires, my Hawks had a 40-35 lead with about 2:45 left in the game and tried to put in freeze mode ,we were in the attached mode and had the Tigers realing,Tigers sent it to overtime, we couldn't pull it out. K.Troyer boy had 13pts on 4 three pointers had a open look at a three with 5 seconds to go in o.t.part way down and came out. Strasburg a real good team can go about nine deep.it will be close in the d-4 seedings. I would go with Strasburg 1st and Bishop Rosecrans a close second then Buckeye Trail and Malvern

Re: Eastern District Teams/Records
OVAC tournament and consolation pairings released this morning. They aren't on the website yet but several East district teams will play each other in those two games. We (Caldwell) host Paden City Tuesday and travel to Conotton Valley Friday.
Championship Pairings of interest to the East District:
Steubenville hosts Buckeye Local and Meadowbrook hosts Edison with the winners and losers playing.
Ferry hosts Linsly and Fort hosts Trail with winners and losers playing.
Toronto hosts Shadyside and River hosts Wheeling Central (Isaly and Price head to head is a great individual matchup) winners and losers play
Consolation games will include several other east district teams as well.

Yes sir. The Strasburg victory over Hiland makes Strasburg the #1 in D-4 for sure and might make Hiland the #2 in D-3.EasternDspy wrote:Anybody ready for selection Sunday.
When is voting done? Today or tomorrow?

I think it was an online deadline like last night I'm not sure. I liked the old way when the coaches would vote for seeding in the room though it lead to a ton of politics and leagues ganging up.PVCGuru wrote:Yes sir. I'm sure the IVC Schools and Buckeye 8 schools will stick together. When it use to be individual sectionals the PVC would have like 4 or 5 teams out of 7 or 8 and Fort benefited many times though they didn't capitalize on it as much as they should of.

When will the seedings be posted, or do we have to wait till sunday, when the coaches pick?
