There are a few guys that do make a big effort to do everything. The kids know who they are. There effort is great and it show in their game. Every year they get better and better.

I think they have oak hill again this season (regional Team) and Southern beat them last season. Dont know about anyone else though

SO did Southern shut down it's basketball program this summer or what?

Well southern is in a summer basketball league over in Ravenswood where they are playing teams like Ripley,Roane County,Ravenswood,Wahama,Point Pleasant and Eastern. I believe thats all the teams. They are looking pretty good right now and I hope to see them improve all through the year and with there new coach(caldwell)I see that happening!!!!!! There test will come this Wednesday when they play Ravenswood. Ravenswood is a pretty good team and we will see how they do against them. They play in a scrimmage against Belpre and Alexander this Thursday up at Belpre and they have there first shoot-out this weekend up at Marietta. I will try my hardest to keep all of there stuff up to date. Sorry about the delay FEZ!!!!! :-D

They have been struggling a little bit lately but they just got back from a shootout up at North Adams and they played pretty good. The teams up there were North Adams,Minford,Wellston,Zane Trace,Felicity,Chesapeake,and the D4 state champs Georgetown :-D

. They played more as a team but still lost a couple but they didnt have everyone there. As for the summer league, they started out ok but like i said, have struggled lately but should turn it around with the coaching of COACH CALDWELL :-D

Southern Looked very impressive at a team camp at O.U. they played as a team and beat good teams at the camp. They had wins vs. Liberty (89-35) and :shock:

Ridgewood (59-33) and Belpre (forget score but beat them by 13 i think). They Played well and have a lot to look forward to for the upcoming season.

They Play Vinton County Nov. 23.. It's the first game of the year for V.C.. Its a home game for Southern.... Can't wait
